Don't want to alarm anyone but Aktobe are 1-0 v Dinamo Tiblisi (2-0 agg) with 10 mins to go.

They'll likely play Steaua București. Can't see them overcoming that hurdle.

So we can get Ludogrets ? They scare the * out me, I think they could beat anyone. I think they put Lazio out the Europa League last season.

The same way every political idea is spread - communication, or in this case lack of it.

Weird that, I would want Aktobe to reach the POs if we never got them.

Hopefully they will catch them cold like Karagandy did to BATE and we avoid them.

Sorry, I'm not following, mate. There're many who turn out at demonstrations, boycott Israeli products, sign petitions, liaise with their local MP and disseminate information in support of the Palestinian cause. How do you know that the people showing solidarity at Celtic games are not one of them unless you know them personally or ask them outright at a game?

It seems some people are only too happy to ridicule a genuine political statement from some of our supporters because they have the ridiculous notion that Celtic Football Club is apolitical.

Do you not notice that support from Celtic, and indeed society in general, has risen as the conflict has reached the daily news??

There is a base level of support from Celtic fans but there are some who emerge at fashionable times to voice their 'support'. If you are going to support Palestine you have to do it 24/7 otherwise you are a fraud.

I'm not really into any of the eastern European teams but historically are Partizan, Sparta Prague and Dinamo Zagreb well known teams.

A wikipedia lookup on Ludogorets tells me they have a decent amount of foreign players with what I suppose a higher amount of quality than usually from a team like this. This together with the fact the team isn't that well known could make it a difficult match.

Is it possible to meet Salzburg? They are by far the strongest team.

To be fair he did say:

"IF the only time they ever do it is at a Celtic game then yes they are."

Which I'd say is fair enough, wouldn't you?

Nope. We can't meet BATE, APOEL or RB Salzburg.

I hope if we do get Tel-Aviv that our support go right over the top with the Palestinian flags.

That would honestly bring a tear to my eye if I saw our support on television in the away end doing that :50:

I've got no issue with waving a Palestinian flag and I certainly have no issues with Celtic fans sympathising with Palestine, I do myself.

However I feel that an over the top political statement from our fans would be unnecessary, Especially as we know very well that the club could be punished should we do that. I like to keep my football and my politics apart.

That said I would probably feel very proud in the moment if there was a sea of Palestine flags & a big banner. It would be worth the fine if it actually made any ounce of difference with the conflict.. although that is extremely unlikely.
