He'll be * the sheep on Wednesday night!

It's unfair to compare to Lenny's squad. He was more successful in signing good players. I don't know if he had more money, John Park had better scouts or whatever. Ronny was asked to use Scottish talent which he did. So he's probably signed his last player before he get's his final assessment in August.

The likes of Tierney would have come through and played in the first team no matter who was boss. If they are good enough they will make it, the wee man looks good enough, that's not really down to deila. I believe where it really matters, tactics, motivational skills and ability to change the game when things aren't going well, he is fairly hopeless.

Tierney may not have made the team if Izzy had not got sent off against Ajax

Hows the development went with ciftci, armstong and mackay steven ? All have been a major disappointment.

That's generally how young players get their debut - red cards, sickness, fixture congestion, etc. It's then up to them to impress, which Tierney did.

I didn't say Ronny was perfect. Ciftci was unfortunate. GMS has been scoring goals recently. Don't let your dislike of Ronny cloud your vision.

I'll give you Armstrong. I think he's just not going to make it here. Reason being his best position is apparently Central Midfield. Commons Rogic and possible even Johansen are ahead of him. We do need to sort out our midfield, I think we have good players but too many to please them all.

Tierney has been managed well. It's a huge step in football getting a kid into the senior team. The level of physicality is massive and if not handled correctly it can cause major problems in confidence. I think that is why we've not seen Nesbitt. He's having a great season with the Development Squad. But I trust Ronny to be doing the right thing with him

Lol Broony's gonae get ye :smiley-laughing002:

I don't dislike Ronny, he seems a very decent human being. I don't think hes doing a good job though, far from it.

Well not all of you but a good fair amount aye :smiley-laughing002:

I apologise, I shouldn't have said you don't like him. It just sounds like it sometimes. I mean you said he was hopeless in every aspect of management. That sounds like you're putting the boot in. I am sorry though :50:

No problem, you seem to think he will eventually come good, but whats your cut off point ? If he fails to qualify for the champions league again next season, would you still want him to stay ?

C K-R does not strike me as the type of player Ronny likes - too much luggage and gob, for him. So has Lawwell decided that Ronny is the Coach and that's the basis for him working at Parkhead in the future? Just don't understand it. We are overloaded with No10s, are looking to loan out young Nesbitt and yet bring in Cole & C K-R. Baffling and not encouraging.
