I like big hartson but he doesn't half like the sound of his own voice and the large percent of rubbish that comes out of it..

I don't think he'd be up to it, mate. Illness has taken its toll on him. Probably just wants to concentrate on his family and getting better just now.

    I'm not picky.
Probably been mentioned before but I think Steve Clarke would be a good No.2. Only thing is, now he's had the taste of being manager would he be happy as "only" No. 2?

Here's another one I'd have - Andreas Hinkel. Injury problems pretty much ruined his career but he was always a good player for us and has always spoken highly of the club. Seems a smart lad, reckon he could do a job in management/coaching (he's currently involved with the youth setup at Stuttgart).

Majstorovic? Don't think he'll be the guy, but I can definitely see him as a manager. According to his Wikipedia he's an agent.

Hinkel is a great shout I think. I would love to see him back here.

Anyone think Alan Stubbs would be interested? Mentioned in his book he'd like to return to Celtic to repay the fans for all the support shown to him during his time here.

Is not part of the Everton set up?

If he is I doubt he would give that up right now.

Someone mentioned Morten Weighorst on the radio tonight. Has bags of experience as manager of the Danish team he got into Europe and is available after his time with Laudrup at Swansea.

I would be in favour of this move although after having the managerial experience he might want to give it another bash.
