Anyone ever done Tough Mudder before? I had heard of it before but never really looked it up until today and I must say it looks fantastic and really good fun. But imagine it would be tough for everybody.

The one in Scotland is on the 14th and 15th of June. £90 to enter on the Saturday and £80 on the Sunday.

They made it easier to make more money out of it. Would still be a challenge for most people, go for it.

Not TM, but have done similar. My mate told me that. Giving Tough Mudder a try this year. Signing up next payday.

Almost done it with a few lads from work last year but failed miserably attempting to stop smoking/train for it. Will definitely do it at one point but would want to be in decent nick if I'm paying near a ton. I'm in France when its on here so maybe next year!

The Berlin Wall and Electric shock challenges look brilliant, would be some test swimming through a stretch of ice water and then havin to peg it through mud for a mile +... theres some hilarious videos of * doing it

Did Tough Mudder last year and a sub 1:30 half marathon this year.

The half marathon was much, much harder, probably because I was aiming for a time.

Honestly if you're just aiming to complete the course you could do it with minimal training.

Good stuff lads, really excited for this myself. Me and two mates are going to do it but could be more of us.

Aye the Electric wires and freezing ice cold water look tough.

There is no comparison between the 2 - a half marathon is a fantastic achievement whereas completing Tough Mudder is a given at the start line.

Tough Mudder is a bit of fun.

Depends how serious you want to take Tough Mudder. Most people will stroll through it casually and in no rush but instead taking there time. But a would imagine some others would want to get the best time possible or beat there previous record, which would make it an extremely difficult physically and mentally tough challenge.

Think with Tough Mudder it's a lot harder to try and achieve a time, because for most of the obstacles/challenges you need to wait until the wardens allow you to go when its clear. My brother did it last year and said it was awesome though :50:
