Forster's been dining out on that night against Barcelona for a long time now.

£8 million would be a great return for him!

He put in three outstanding performances against Barcelona and I've lost count of how many games he's won with a top class save - penalties, one on ones, point blank shots. He still has flaws in his game but dining out on one night he is not.

If that were true (big if) I would actually take that. I wanted us to get Yoshida before Southampton signed him. Would certainly be a decent back up/challenger to Ambrose's position.

The Big Man is a great keeper, no doubt. Someone is going to get him in his prime at 26. That should be taken into consideration in the fee along with the term left on his contract. If its good money we get then unfortunately thats the way it is but he has saved us brilliantly many times. So much so it has Buffon and Valdes etc speaking in glowing terms about him. Thats a great endorsement for anyone and says it all about his quality. If we can keep him great, if money talks then its business as usual.
The Big Man was born on St Patricks day so he was bound to be a lucky charm for us. :bbpd::shamrock::celt_2:

Its only a matter of time before FF is off .
If he can double or triple his wages in a higher profile leauge then you cant blame him .
If Celtic can get 8-10 million for him then it will be good buisness .

Good keeper but I don't think he'd be a massive loss, great shot stopper but considering his height, he is very poor at commanding his area.

I'd like to get more for him if possible but £8m and a decent player (like Yoshida) would be a tidy piece of business.

We should get a sell-on clause, going by the rate of things for Southampton, Forster will play one season there and get sold for 25 million.

Its all down to the club and what they think is acceptable for him as a fan I would like over 8 but its not my choice unfortunately I reckon if a concrete offer of 6.5 + clauses comes in and even a part exchange like yoshida thown in I reckon it will be accepted.

Think your mistaking him with Tony Watt.
