Maybe if some of the posters on here moaning about the lack of cup success had gone to the game today the players may have felt that we cared about these competitions.

Crowds a Celtic park suggest that the majority of our support are content with league title and CL participation.

You have said this at the beginning of your post on on two different threads.

The lady doth protest too much?

Any reaction this soon after the game would be perceived as knee *.

    Lenny to stay!

This season has been a massive backwards step imo knocked out both cups at home and couldn't even be competitive in the Champions league group add to that we sold the spine of our team in Wanyama, Wilson, Hooper and now to a lesser extent Ledley. The only positive to come from this year was the signing of Virgil, Karagandy fightback and if we can go the season unbeaten

I don't think it's a case of us taking our foot of the gas, we're just incapable of putting our foot on the gas without a glamour fixture. Not just the players, the fans too. There's a general apathy about the domestic fixtures.

After a couple more beers and watching some of the rugby, I'm calm now.

It will be content to slightly aggravated soon.

I can handle losing a game, even a cup game, but it's the nature in which we do it I can't handle... Was at the St Mirren game last season and Morton game this season... haven't seen us play worse than that. Then we will go pump whoever 3-0 in the league next week and everyone is back to loving life.

I wouldn't call this season successful. Two home defeats in the cups, terrible performances as well. Disappointing CL campaign, tough group but we should have done better.

How dare you accuse other than Neil Lennon at fault for this loss today!

Put it this way, if I were in charge this season, I think I (or more here) would be more likely than not to do as well or better than what we currently going to achieve. And I am being serious.

I am not demanding Lennon goes, but I wouldn't be worried in the slightest if he left either.

Time for him to go, he doesn't look interested himself judging by his body language at games, bring in someone ambitious and with new ideas. Far too much has he * the team tactics and selection in big games, furthermore he has zero confidence in some of his own signings. I appreciate what he has done for the club as a player and a manger in a difficult transitional period , where the ship needed steadied after the Mowbray fiasco.

Anyone who thinks Lennon would turn down a premiership club if they came in for him is delusional. That is modern football and it should be remembered when fans get angry at any criticism against him

Probably because he agrees the cup record isn't good enough but knows that pertinence lies with the CL.
    Duh!
