Was MOTM actually, mate.

 

Really got to see what this guy was all about today..

What a debut,easily the best player on the park..

Always dropping into space wanting the ball,passing is spot on and he breaks well also,nice little nutmeg on jim goodwin..
Apart from anything else,what pleased me the most was his closing down,didn't give st mirren a second on the ball,it was excellent..

Guys a player..

 

played well, worked hard, and has surprisingly good dribbling ability. The only downside of his game today were the numerous misplaced long passes.

 

Had cracking debut you would think the st mirren was hand picked for his first game more of the same please also love the way he chased a few lose balls down and never give up looks as if he could have run for an other 90 minutes welcome to celtic Stefan.

If may have been best for Ledley to leave because if this guy is anything to go by so far - he wouldn't have seen the pitch....he looks as if he can do the dirty work and play a pass: Ledley could do the dirty work but could rarely play a pass

Or the one to Mulgrew in his last match. Or I also mind one to Hooper in a game last season I think, Hooper dinked it over the keeper, was a home game?

He got MOTM, although he was good I wouldnt have said he was out best. I would say he was our 3rd best, still an achievement in his first real game. Id have said Izaguirre was our best, then Mulgrew then Johansen.

 

Johansen's started once for us and he's ahead of ledley

 

Never saw the game but by the sounds of it he is a good player.

We are quite ruthless on here so it is a good sign some are excited about him already.

 

Brilliant debut. Was everywhere but without being a headless chicken, he was disciplined and all his short passes were good and accurate. His shooting and long passing is * but that'll get better.

Very very promising.

Looks dead like Modric as well.

 

Remember hes hardly played since November so he is bound to be a bit rusty.

If he keeps that up we'll not have to worry about the gap left by Ledley, absolutely fantastic today!

 

Mulgrew? Thought he was quite poor today. Barely put in a decent cross the whole match.

 

Aye, because that's the only pass he's made.

 

I would say he put in quite a few good crosses although there was no point as we are useless in the air up front but he was our most influencial player I felt, he was always on the ball and the whole game really went through Johansen, Mulgrew and Izaguirre I thought.

Nobody was that great today actually, nobody had a bad game either I felt. I would have gave those 3 a 7 and the rest 6s.

 

I've always admired Ledleys graft and consistency + he would be in my teamsheet every game but 9 times out of 10 he would get the ball and then pass it to izzaguirre....Now it looks like we have a guy who can do the dirty work and play a variety of passes
