I'm doing a rise of British ice hockey article for my college graded unit. I haven't one clue or piece of knowledge on the sport, and chose it to learn as I produce.

Would any of you guys be able to point me in the right direction in terms of info that could be useful, or even wish to be interviewed on the subject, that would help too.

Drop me a PM if you're up for it, cheers! :50:

    Not the ideal result! :smiley-laughing002:

I can't believe we threw away that game against Hull at the weekend, it honestly looked as though it would be a walkover after the first goal went in early.

Atmosphere was shocking as well. This weekend should be better for that at least, no idea what sort of result to expect.

A loss will officially signal the beginning of the wheels coming off. A win is required.

I dont think it will officially signal anything, Belfast are a quality side and a loss wont tell most people anything they didn't already know. Plenty of people probably thought the same thing when we lost to Dundee and Edinburgh at home on the bounce but we then went on a 9 or 10 game winning streak. We beat Dundee away on Sunday as well so we've lost something like two league games in twelve. We'll definitely make the play-offs and hopefully we'll be in the top three, if we come fourth I wouldn't fancie our chances of getting through to the play-off finals weekend.

No they haven't been for ages cos Braehead are :icon_mrgreen: And before that Sheffield were. Belfast didn't cope very well with playing in the league and Europe and they've never properly recovered from that.

Just ordered our tickets for the play-off weekend in Nottingham :icon_mrgreen: Braehead already sold out their section so they've opened up another for us, should be * amazing, providing we get there :56:

Yeah, there's four games in two days and each team has its own sectionof the arena. Its quite expensive but when you work it out at being about ten hours of hockey and its the finals its pretty decent.

Going to the hockey in Düsseldorf next Sunday. 11 euros / £8 for my ticket. They have a nice looking arena as well.

Going to go to my first ice hockey game in a couple of weeks in Belfast. Braehead v Belfast. Am I best just buying tickets online? Or is there some at the gate? How many people will be roughly there? In there home and away sections? Sorry for all the questions haha.
