I can't say I was overly impressed with Nando's. Not any better than a Burger King IMO.

Think it's pretty decent, nothing special.

Each to their own I suppose, can see why some think its overpriced its pretty easy to make.

The only thing I disagree with Is that it's probably deemed "cooler" to dislike Nandos.

It has definitely become "cool"/fashionable to go to Nando's. Seems like the only restaurant where people feel the need to tell you they're going to it. Rarely see people saying "going for a Pizza Hut tonight can't wait" whereas you get similar posts about Nando's every day. No * gives a * where you are eating.

First time I went I didn't see the fuss but the second time I did butterfly chicken. Medium with cheese and usually get piri piri chips and corn or mash and share a garlic bread way the misses with a drink

usually comes to 35 quid don't think that's really over priced always stuffed at the end so does the job!

If nobody had tryed it you should try the piri mayo I think it is

Only complaint is the wait... Usually 45 mins In st Enoch's the quay is usually faster as it's bigger but they let you out your name down and come back so it's not that bad

End of August apparently. A friend had made (what I had assumed was) a joke about it closing a few months back. Was walking from the west end to Leith a few Fridays ago and saw it was completely dark. What a disaster. The staff were great craic, food was excellent and the atmosphere when Scotland played Italy in the rugby was always superb. Oh and I'll never forget the atmosphere when Italy won the World Cup in 2006.

Sad to see it go :54:

I'm a massive fan of Nando's. Always sorts your hangover right out also. Just seen they are opening a new one on Sauchiehall Street aswell. Should stop the long waiting times in the other one at St Enoch Center.

Just looked at the menu on there website and they charge for salt :smiley-laughing002:.

Would I * go there. From what I am reading here it sounds like its for stuck up wannabies...the people with real class don't go to nandos, they also enjoy there meal without facebooking it.

^ They don't charge for salt. They charge for their own Piri Piri salt. It's pretty much their identity. Of course they're going to charge for it!

I don't know what's worse, the people who insist on telling everyone they're going to Nando's, or * that get all wound up about it.

Don't see why something so trivial annoys people so much :56:.

Annoys quite a few. We should make a thread for trivial things that annoy us!
