Sutton or Heskey

Inspired by this below....

Thoughts on a postcard please.

 

Sutton obviously

 

I'm expecting it to be pretty much unanimous

 

Sutton. He should have been first choice England "big man" in the early 2000s

Owen > Cole > Fowler
Sutton > Heskey > Sheringham

Seaman
Neville Ferdinand Campbell Cole

Sutton
Owen Shearer

That would have been some team if England used it.

Heskey isn't as bad as people made him out to be, he had some good seasons in the prem, but Sutton was the much better player

 

Heskey was decent. He was just nowhere near Sutton.

 

Sutton without doubt was by far the better of the two.

Sheringham would be a much more interesting debate. Obviously Sutton is going to win on a Celtic forum though.

Sutton for me but Heskey was actually a decent player in his day.

 

You've answered it as Chris Sutton was far more than decent,just ask Henrik or Shearer

 

Sutton was actually a good player in his own right. Not just your typical "big *"

Larsson wouldn't have anywhere near the level of respect for him if he was just a standard English target man.

Heskey, although a good player in his Leicester days, was more the type to bring out qualities in his fellow striker(s) whereas Sutty could do that and also score on his own.

 

Sutton easily, just like heskey for the "Heskey has a big black *" chants

Definitely Sutton, but Heskey isn't as bad as his reputation makes him out to be. In his prime he was big, strong, and great at linking up (especially with Owen).

Sutton by a country mile..no bias, Sutty was just an all round better player.
