When in Amsterdam I would suggest to go to O'reilly's near the dam, or the Tara pub (more of an english pub) on the Rokin (near the dam; big place). If you take a short tram and go to the Maria heinekenplein there is a good irish pub as well and it's behind the Heineken brewerytours. Ofcourse you have mulligans near Rembrand Square, which is cosy but small.

For some more cosy dutch like beers/bars go to Gollem or one of the well know bars at the Spui (near the Dam and Rokin).
Offcourse there s also the leidse square with some pubs and one irish. There s also a sportsbar with some screens you can watch from outside.

I will go and have a look on the Dam to hear you b(h)oys sing and give some of those beers back that i was offered in Glasgow. Have fun.

Got an email to say tickets went to my house but that they needed signed for and they took them away again. Raging. I'm out of the country to Saturday. did anyone get tickets from viagogo and if so was it Royal Mail who delivered them or a courier company.

I have bought tickets through viagogo and have printed them out at home. They have a barcode on them which I have been told you can just scan at the turnstile and enter the stadium. Here's hoping!

I booked mine over a month ago on viagogo.nl. I had to translate every page which was a bit of a ball ache but nevertheless it worked. They have most likely sold out now. I paid £220 for 2 tickets that have a face value of 33 euro. They are in VAK 412. Anyone else in there?

From what I can see leidseplein square seems to be the place to go for decent deals on beer. It's a five minute walk from Dam square according to google and it even has an Irish bar named hoopman beside the sports cafe quoted earlier.

    Gets my vote:50:

Bit risky trying to gain entry with colours on if the stewards/ police have been told to refuse entry to obvious away fans in the home end. Better to hide your scarf and top (under a t-shirt) until inside and then get changed if it's safe.

Lol the more Paddy's the better:smiley-laughing002:

Agree no colours obvious. I'm going for the polo shirt with jumper over it on match day. Of course the polo shirt will have a Celtic crest on it. Maybe crack it open at some point depending on the mood in the stadium
