I really hope he stays, last season was the best season a CB has had in a long time, he didnt look out of place at all in the CL vs the best.

The way i see it is , we are selling our best players and replacing them with inferior so the team never gets stronger, for every wanyama we sign, we will sign 3/4 bangura's so in the long run any profit is off set buying diddies., how much have we wasted on strikers in the last 4 years, bangura, murphy, miku, lassad, brozek, rassmussen, the money from that lot alone would have paid for a top class striker.

So if Wilson goes for £3m theres no way on earth he gets replaced with a £3m defender, so much for lawells every penny profit will be reinvested in the team, on that logic, theres still 14 million left to spend from the sale of hooper, vic , and wilson if he goes, if u deduced the cost of , balde, virgil and the guy from ajax

Well I remember, they were the best defensive performances in a european campaign since mcmanus and o'dea's.

£2million is an absolute joke. At this rate this great team we've worked hard to build is going to be none existent and were going to need a year for the players the bond and gel again. It's a vicious cycle.

What's the situation here, is this actually happening/does he want out?

Would be a sore one. Wanyama and Hooper were bad enough to take, having a crucial first team player from last year leave out of the blue would hurt. Especially in a position we've kinda struggled with recently.

If he was to leave, Why one Earth would he go back to Nottingham Forrest though (as rumoured).
They treated him like * in his last season there, yet it's the same manager he'd be playing for that forced him to train with the reserves.

I just don't see him leaving at all right now, nevermind going back to Nottingham Forrest.

We seem happy to break apart the team for a big profit and start again.

It's a huge risk selling 3 or more key first team players in one window.

If he goes then Mulgrew can slot back into the center half and win another player of the year award! Job done.

well we've signed 2 centre halves so this looks probable in my eyes

and probably would suggest the guy wants to head back south

starting to think the weakened league is having a dominoe effect at this rate we are gonna be back to the days before 86 world cup

good championship borderline premiership quality players would seem to rather be back playing in the championship :(

theres no hiding it publically our league has took a battering with the traditionally 2nd and 3rd best teams folding or close to it and whole host of others struggling badly

like it or not this has a bad effect on celtic

If he does go it's more likely the player has said he wanted to go down south...much like Hooper and Wanyama..when a player wants to play in England there is no point keeping him here as his heart would never be in it.

So with that in mind, Celtic HAVE to put a price on their heads and get rid. I don't think its necessarily the clubs fault..they can't force someone to be here. This is the reality we are living in and will live in for the near future.

Sorry, but in my book to be outstanding means to be Muldini-esque. Wilson is not!

He's a good solid slightly-above-SPL-standard defender. That is all.
