George Zimmerman acquitted in Trayvon Martin case

A light skin hispanic, with a jewish name, who lives in an almost exclusively white middle class neighbourhood?

Don't act stupid, you know as well as I do that for all intents and purposes this trial was white vs black. The crux of this case was that a young black man's word simply was not trustworthy or valid enough, and that simply by virtue of his colour he was "suspicious" and thus worthy of death.

They took his word because conveniently no opposing word was available for comment. Due to all witnesses either being Zimmerman's gated community mates, or being in a * box in the Florida dirt. His motives, as I said before, weren't good enough, no matter how good they might have been or how believable he may have made them seem in the case.

You should not, in a free and democratic 21st century country, be able to murder someone simply because you don't like the way they look.

 

Don't live there didn't see it so I don't know what happened but you seem to know the truth just can't workout how that's possible you know exactly the same as me nowt the jury heard it all and found him not guilty that's good enough for me.

Yeah the guy who has black Peruvian ancestry, I'm sure he hates blacks.

Also the neighbourhood wasn't middle class or exclusively white either. The total opposite is the case.

 

the news coverage of the case was outrageous. the news channels were showing pictures of Martin when he was about 12, trying to make out that he was an innocent young boy not capable of any violence, disgusting.

 

Please explain to me why you think Zimmerman was justified in following and shooting Martin?

did i say he was justified in following him. he shot him because Martin attacked him. as far as i know, self defense by use of firearm is perfectly legal in florida

 

I followed this case when I was on holiday in Florida, and Martin isn't exactly the innocent the media over here are making him out to be. One of the state's witnesses even admitted Martin was on top of him pounding him ffs, not saying Zimmermann is innocent but you need to know the facts first

 

There had been many burglaries in the neighbourhood in recent times and Zimmerman spotted a guy walking about with a hoodie in the dark and was looking in to other houses. He got out to question him and ended up like this:

 

Correct. as far as i know he was in the neighborhood watch as well.

 

The case has been totally twisted to make Martin look totally innocent and Zimmerman look like a racist.

He deserved that.He'd been told not to follow him and made the decision against police instructions to do so while armed.I don't believe that it was Trayvon Martin who attacked him,it's evident the aggressor was Zimmerman.
'These * they always get away' - obviously Zimmerman was never going to let him escape because he had decided he was guilty.The sick satisfied look on the face of that murderer will live with me forever.

 

I totally agree that the American media have been * bent on painting Zimmerman out to be a racist.

What was also deplorable were the pictures of course the picture of martin when he was 12 and then you have the picture of zimmerman with an orange jumpsuit on, and then the same ones have the cheek to * about equal rights

 

Yes he went against what the police said but there had been recent burglaries and the police had been too slow to get there so the burglars escaped. What do you mean that you don't believe Martin attacked him, how do you think he was injured then? Also there were no other injuries on martins body beside the gun shot,.
