our best player besides perhaps commons (though Brown can play his game against most anybody, Commons struggles a bit in the CL at times)

 

My favorite player. True warrior.

His presence is gigantic for us, I was under impression that he could take on their XI alone and beat the * out of them. And when that little * Black brought him down in first 2 or 3 minutes of the game, I was 100% sure that Broony is going to get him later. :smiley-laughing002:

 

I love it when he gets under the opponent's skin, and then gets that little smirk on his face. Stunning performance today. He wanted the ball more than anyone else on the pitch, and he got what he wanted. Bravo, Broony.

Aye. Thing is too, like they said during the game at one point, he could comfortably make a living playing down south...for much greater wages too, knowing how tight-fisted we are and how much even the small clubs in the EPL have. He sticks with us, though, puts in 100% nearly every game, and clearly has an admiration for the fans. Just amazing. I've never really loved him as a player as he doesn't really do enough, but that's just my opinion. As our captain though he is fantastic and definitely very close to being a legend here at this great football club. Chuffed to have him!

Totally agree with that.

 

Loved his answer to the question "is there a sense of relief now that you've gotten through this tie?"

Brown basically replied something like

"No. We knew we were going to win and we did."

 

Was best player on the park today by a long way.

 

Could have had his slippers on and a brandy. Bossed they * without breaking a sweat.

 

Most influential guy in our squad by an absolute * mile. We'd be * without him in games like these, guys an absolute legend.

 

thought ,his tackle on mculloch ,at second goal was brill,, as he was down on the ground ,stuck his leg up and downed that big *, stopping him blocking commons goal .. cute as,, look for it in the highlights

 

Thank you Tony Mowbray for making this colossus our captain. For this decision alone I forgive you for all the * games whilst you were manager.

 

Wonderful today. Every inch the Celtic captain.

These are the games in which Scott Brown really shines. He seemed to know where the danger was, and have the strength and aggression to stamp it out before it develops.

Guys only 29 too. We'll get another few good years out of him yet. He is sensational.
