His decision making is shocking at times; he takes off through the middle veers right ignoring the run from RB (Matthews yesterday) before cutting inside and squaring it to Brown in a congested area. I do think he's decent most of the time.

I have no idea what Ambrose is thinking sometimes, but these erratic movements of his are only a minority of what he does yet get so much attention it's unreal.

You can play well for 10 games but make one mistake and that's what fans lock onto.
I think the guy is a donkey just waiting to * up but im happy to give him time as it may be a while before we see him at his best.

You know, I was struck last Tuesday by the contrast between Juve at CP and that game. Juve have outstanding players and Shakhtar Karagandy looked poor; yet again and again their striker was getting to punted long balls ahead of Van Dijk and Mouyokolo. Contrast that with that horrible night in February when, in spite of a much better quality of ball into the channels and far superior strikers, Ambrose and Wilson were regularly getting to the ball first, so that Juve didn't have an "out ball".

If their striker is second to these clearances, they'll not be able to relieve the pressure like last Tuesday and will win far fewer dangerous throws.

Ambrose should be one of the first names on the team sheet on Wednesday.

A 'manager' in england, think he's called Holloway or something, dont know who he manages must be some wee side, anyway this guy claims never to have heard of Efe Ambrose.

This is why the english are disliked in most places, shame that as some english people are decent.

He was * amazing tonight. My all round man of the match.

More like that and he will be indefensible. Sensible on the ball, a driving force, solid in the tackle, good in the air and so clever to help his partner who wasn't used to be a centre back.

Brilliant so he was. That was more like the form he produced before that Juventus game. Hopefully pushes on and keeps up this level of performance. I love a CB who likes to play a bit as well

Efe Ambrose was good against ICT and it was a great decision from Lenny to play him.

Hopefully he can get a few good games behind him and not get made the scapegoat if we drop points

He was immense. Always loved Ambrose, aye he can be a dumb fud at time but he has bags of potential and you can't question his ability.

Brilliant tonight, caught out of position a couple times, but apart from that, was brilliant.
