    Exactly.

He is 24 and still adapting to life at Celtic, and probably life in Glasgow.

Lustig and Wilson were the same last year, and they are two of our most solid performers now.

He was playing right back today not his normal position and did'nt have a great game. He's done well with wilson in the center and looks a good footballer. This time next year once he's settled in he will be even better.

Think lenny had visions of the Juve game regarding Ambrose today. The big guy looked if he was up for being exploited and I think it was a good decision to remove him.

Defo no cause for hysteria though, he is still a top player for us.

I don't think being pulled before half time will do much for his confidence either. I will * myself if he appears in the Juve starting 11.

He played today like it was just a kick about in the park. Didn't look at all like he was taking it serious. On his day though he'd be in my first choice XI.

My dad come away with "He's been smoking too much of that wacky backy, that's why he's too chilled out on the ball" :smiley-laughing002:

I would think it is more to do with being linked with a move away.

Given that he was verbal on it too, it probably went to his head and then for some reason effected his performance.

I remember it happening quite a few times down the line. Worst ever was Liam Miller when he found out Man U where interested.

I don't mind a player trying to build from the back, I would rather see that than an aimless long ball, but jeezo, Ambrose try's it far too often, and sometimes when it's not on. If he doesn't want to knock it long, then play it back to Forster and start again, this trying to beat 2 and 3 players is his downfall and he is beginning to make me a nervous wreck!

Really don't know what's gone wrong.

Before the ACON he was always prone to the odd * up, but since he returned it's like 1 or 2 * ups every game.

Needs to be dropped for a while. What's happened to Wilson? Injured?

I don't even need to read this thread so far to know that people will be blaming him for what happened tonight, despite the fact that it was him coming on that freed up the formation to get a goal back.

I'm in no way blaming him for the performance. We were * all game. He's not good enough though. Not at the back anyway.
