Tony Watt - striker converted to a left winger
Dylan McGeouch - attacking midfielder converted to a right back

    Played Lennon.

Was decent when he came on.

Just can't help but feel he won't 'make it' at Celtic. Think he might have just been a flash in the pan.

He will make it,got plenty of time...

Needs to be played up front in a 2 or 3 man forward line domestically and he will damage teams that big right back kovacavic or whatever his name is is not bad and quite physical, watt bullied him with 50/50 shoulder barges and pace, put a couple of decent low crosses in the box aswell with his left peg..

    Good player

I'd like to see Tony through the Centre more often, but any game time is good for him at his age :50:

He needs more game time in order for his progress to continue, he could turn out to be a fantastic player when he's older if he is played regularly.

To be honest, I only want one striker instead of two if it will get Balde and Watt playing regularly. Especially if we're playing one up front regularly, too many strikers to fill one spot.

Isn't this what our strikers do over the last 5 years...
They drift wide for what reason I so not know ... I don't know the formation for yesterday but at times it looked like stokes was up top himself with commons in behind and at times it looked like a 4 3 3 especially when derk was on alon with stokes and Forrest/commons maybe this is why watt kept drifting to left mid

    Both incorrect statements.

He came on for our injured left winger?

He did indeed, does that mean he must take up that position? No. He is a striker, Commons could have moved into LM, lets not forget he played his best football for us in that position.

Watt put in a good shift as usual but he looked completely uncomfortable in that position

It was 30mins in, I don't think Lennon was wanting to shift around half the team that early on.

It was just a straight swap while playing with the current tactics.

He's a forward in every sense, not a striker. He was playing left side of a forward 3. Even when he plays as 1 in a 2 he is always found in the channels.

Commons was MOTM in the hole, a position he has clearly been earmarked to play this season. Watt for Boerrigter as a straight swap was the most natural change to make.

Did well yesterday. Would really like to see him get more game time.

He is a player with no fear and I really like that about him. He will run at a defence like Forrest will and can easily pass players.

He needs game time desperately at this stage.

Thought he was a passenger in the second half yesterday, would like to see him and Stokes in a front two.

Think he should have played up front yesterday, would have made far more sense to stick Commons on the left and Watt up front. I'm really not a fan of getting Watt out on the wings, Lenny should make more of an effort to have him playing through the middle. Unfortunately drifting out wide seems to be a common trend among our strikers, Watt and Stokes both seem to be doing it, as did Sammy and Fortune when they were our strike partnership.

The thing is, we won the match with Stokes through the middle and Commons Man of the Match in the hole. So Lenny was proven right.

In the Scotland under-21 squad to face England along with Stuart Findlay and McGeouch.

A wee hattrick against Engurland will take him to joint top scorer for the u-21s. :50:
