    McGregor had a crazy patch a bit like Artur had for us but over the years despite McGregor being a numpty off the pitch I think he is a top keeper who could play for a good EPL side. FF is solid and I wouldnt be unhappy if he signed but Gordon is a really superb goalie who is miles better than FF and a bit better than McGregor IMO. Gordon is a really incredible shot stopper somewhat in the Artur mould. With the CL beckoning Gordon would be of huge use to us. Without Boruc we would never have made those great CL runs and I think Gordon would be as big a bonus.

    Mate, we could probably field Cervi next season and have a better keeper than Rangers.

    Gordon had 4 seasons at hearts where he played over the 30 league games a season, then a full season @ sunderland, no serious injuries.

    get your facts straight, he has had a * few seasons but that is not to say he is not over them, he went 5 seasons without major incident, whats not to say that will not happen again. i would take the punt on him.

    As other posters have sad if he can stay injury free then good and well. I don't know if he will want to leave England now. But imo it would be best for his career to move back up to Scotland.

    While I believe Fraser Forster is happy here, I do think he's had his head turned at the prospect of going down south. I'd have him over Craig Gordon, but really only because he's younger and has more potential. However, Gordon's more proven, and may be a better bet in Europe.

    I'd really love to have both challenging each other for the number 1 jersey. Could only bring the best out of both of them; a bit like De Gea and Lindegaard at Man Utd (or when we had Rab Douglas and David Marshall). The younger keeper learns from the older one, and the older keeper is kept on his toes by the younger one.

    Plus, we'd easily get a buyer for Lukasz Zaluska, probably for around £1m (though he's been a great servant, and I'd be a little sad to see him leave).
