    To be fair, Paddy was dead on his feet when he came off. He did well, put in a shift and had a few good runs, they were worried about him when he got turned and facing them.

    Just watched the whole game this morning as on nightshift.Great result, good performance. The fight and passion was back, lets hope it stays, not just another one off. Kayal, Wanyama and Sammy stood out, thats not taking anything away from anybody else, especially seconfdhalf. Credit has to go to Sammy, takes a lot of bashing but his workrate was superb last night.
    Young Fraser's reading of the game was superb for such a young lad, got at their forwards.
    Only critisism is, as already mentioned is still defending at set pieces. This zonal marking is going to cost up games. All too often when defending we are static, we got to track runners. How significant this win is will only be known if we perform the same way on Sunday, lets hope its the turning point we have been waiting for. Overall Im pleased with the result but more emphasis for me is the attitude of the players, looked like they wanted to play......:50:

    just a wee post to say how proud i am of the bhoys after last night! :celt_2:
    the complete team was amazing, even big forster play brilliant lol
    dont know what to make of the formation we had tho, it was a kinda 4-2-3-1 with sammy on the left again :97: and McCourt playing behind stokesy! I liked it but what does that mean for Hooper,Brown,Commons and Ki? Super subs!? like hooper was last night? lol
    The only thing I didnt like was the shody defending at set pieces, Its been mentioned umpteen times before but still we use this school boy zonal markin system and if there was going to be "our achilles heel" its going to be that! :54:
    apart from that...

    the zonal marking is it only at corners ? thats the way it looks!

    i had my hand over my eyes at every corner rennes were taking and they had a quite a few i think i had my hand over my eyes for a 1/3 of the game lol

    but great battling performance overall!

    we were determined last night but caution still needed as we could have still lost that game last night

    For spells last night there were some great signs of life, guys that have took most of the flak like Sammy, Maj and Kayal, turned in their best performances of the season and at long * last Paddy got his chance.

    I've said all along our team look much more balanced and for that matter, much more dangerous with 2 wide players and so it proved.

    Most of all the fight and determination of last season was back, why oh why can't we show that energy and fight in the SPL?

    A massive pat on the back to the fans who went along last night as well, incredible atmosphere.

    Come on Celtic, we can still do this! :50:
