    Spoke to him when he was doing his coaching badges down at largs, he`s was a decent bloke. However he`s an absolute * when he plays, moaning tae the ref and acting the hard man. Suppose he has to fight for every advantage, given his age handicap.

    Ive got no doubt in my mind he would have played for us if we had asked him first.He was very late on the money bandwagon, and would have gone anywhere.He was 29 before he got his big move to Everton, so he wont have had much in the bank up until that point.
    Its a pity in a way...we could have done with him....as much as we give him abuse, he done a no-bad job considering his age.

    I think he was one of their best players last season. He had some problems against Hooper and Sammy but walked it against most of the other teams. He was better that Thugherra imo.
