He is blaming the players mentality more than anything else to be honest, maybe he is referring to himself as well, thats a good step identifying the problem and now hopefully the players can grow a * pair and actually respond when they go a goal down.

I saw this * last season when we went a goal down we hardly ever recovered and there was little response to conceding, celtic teams in the past would surge forward when needing a goal or two, the last 15 minutes would be a total bombardment of the opposition defence with sustained pressure, what did we get against sion and st.johnstone? Players wallowing in self pity instead of trying to get something from the game, we need more winners on the park when the going gets tough.

looking to have a pop at the guy in his first league game

here's his quotes he's not implying * all, he's telling it as it is

it was his older more experienced central defensive partner majstorovic that got all fooking nervous

Nobody had a good game. Victor certainly didnt. Dan had a howler but Wanyama was unimpressive beside him. Wasnt commanding, got in the way of Dan a few times. There were at least two occasions he came for a ball that was Dans and just collided.Second half he went walkabout on 3 occasions and lost the ball cheaply.

    He isnt a CB.

Dan was worse though, as the more experienced of the two. He looks finished.

Funny, from where I was sitting it looked like it was Wanyama's ball and big Maj got in his way a few times!

+1. At one point Wanyama went through 3 tackles and not one player went to help. I thought Wanyama did ok.

Folks get a * grip man seriously, the guy is just speaking his mind I dont see any * moaning that Lenny said the front six were * on sunday and that Commons isnt hitting a penalty ever again but as soon as a 20 year old player comes out and says aye we were * and that fans telt us so we need to deal with it and yer wanting the lynch mob jesus this is why im glad i dont go to the games cos the atmosphere nowadays is a * disgrace we used call ourselves the best fans in the world at one point and now were * greeting over a couple of poor results what ye expect us to win every * game this year.

In Lenny We Trust theres some fans who need to remember that........

People on here complain about newspapers making * up all the time but then can't see it when it's right in front of their face. The first four paragraphs or so of that article are written to make us believe that Victor is blaming the fans. Then his quotes come in and he says nothing of the sort.

Why oh why would the newspapers do such a dastardly thing?! Cause we're all going to the page and * reading it.

He wasn't greeting at all he said what no1 else except for Lenny has had the balls to come out and say, basically "we were *".
No point dwelling on it, he and the bhoys know what they have to do, just play better next time.
    Simples.

Perhaps his best option would have been to keep his mouth closed in the first place !!!

I thought he was very diplomatic.

He probably felt like saying, "I'm used to supporters who actually support the * team, and don't spit the dummy at the first defeat of the season."

Celtic can barely afford one defeat a season. He has to learn that.
