Here's the silver lining though. As bad as our tactics were. As bad as our execution was. As bad as our luck was to be without Izzy, Wilson, Kayal, Hooper. As bad as everything was from start to finish.... we didn't give up an away goal.

The writing was on the wall for a bad night, but it didn't turn into a nightmare, and could have easily. If that offside flag stayed down on their counter-attack goal, we were really f*cked (never got a second look at it).

No excuses, last night was horrendous, but it could've been worse. Need to snap out of it before it's too late. KTF.

I'm still confident we can go over there and win. 1-1 will do fine!

WE LET THEM OFF THE HOOK

    Gave them TOO MUCH RESPECT

In Switzerland I think Celtic will actually get it right and win 4/5 nil easy

Everyone will see that they just looked good because we dint do the job properly at Celtic Park!

It will be a tough task for us but we still have a chance, not just the result but the performance last night was very disappointing

Can you honestly say there any better than Killie or DDeeUtd or whoever

We just made them look good

We regularly hand out 4/5 nil thrashings to SPL teams so why not them

Because for whatever reason the team (no matter who is in it) seems to go into European away games with the mentality that it is more likely they will lose than win.

We just need to have a bit of confidence in our abilities and we'll be fine.

Quite confident that we'll beat them in Switzerland:icon_mrgreen:

They are poor, if we just play what we usually play against Dundee Utd, Aberdeen etc. then we should do fine:50:

I agree with you about too much respect. I don't know how much our mentality can change in a week tho. Hopefully will be like night and day, but that's a lot to ask on the road, given our history, form in the home leg, and the stakes. It really will be up to Kayal and Hooper to swoop in and alter this tie.

Ye can't win them all. If you change everything after ONE draw nothing will work. Still can't get over the team being booed off, certainky dose t help the best fans in the world tag!

That team played dirty and the ref didnt help matters either and they got the result they wanted but the main thing though is they are * and didnt get an away goal so im expecting us to do the business over therem too much doom and gloom with our supporters you would have thought we had lost im keeping the faith in my team and Lenny:shamrock:

Although we most likely will do the biz, you can't criticise fans for being angry at a * result.

Too many players off form for me. Thought the defence played pretty well and Cha / Mulgrew did their best to get forward and attack.

Ledley was pretty ineffective, Brown treated us to his usual combination of charging around like a loony and mis-placed passes, Commons had an off night. Ki was probably the best of the 4 and everything useful we created stemmed from him.

Stokes and Samaras both had nightmares. I've said it a million times, if Sammy starts the game well he can be a world beater, if he starts a game poorly his head goes down and we are a man short. We can't afford to have someone like that in the team.
