No way would never go down that route, there is more important things than money, like tradition and history.

some people spend too much time looking back at our history instead of concentrating on creating our history......ye can call it the augustuus gloop chocolate bowl for all i care.....if it meant a massive cash injection.

I agree. There are some things that should remain sacred and the name of our stadium is one of them imo.

What if Virgin offered us £20million a year if we changed our strips to red & white? Would people go for that just so we could compete in Europe? Nah * that.

It'll always be Parkhead to me.

If it was ever changed I would still call it Celtic Park or Parkhead and I am sure everyone would still.

Totally against the idea but 100Million would be hard to turn down but that is a total pipe dream the reality is that if they thought they could get away with it the board would probably punt the name for £15million.

Celtic park is historical, everything in and around it. I wouldn't sell that for a bit of cash that we would t be allowed to spend.

Nobody wants a 'sportsdirect.com @ St James' Park Stadium' type deal but we are not in a position to turn down a substantial offer for the stadium naming rights to Celtic Park/Parkhead, neither are we in a position to ignore or dismiss the idea. The SPL is going down the toilet because the club chairmen wont agree to restructure the leagues so we best grab all the money we can, while we can.

No way some places are sacred and synonymous with tradition!!
Bobby Charlton said it perfectly when he said that Old Trafford means too much to too many people and the history and tradition of the club to change for just money!
Paradise is the same and anfield as well these places have historical significance to the fans and traditions of the club we love!

    just to end this debate

it will never happen because the dimwit marketing folks out there would never sposor us without sponsoring them, for fear of alienating a large swathe of the scottish community, regardless of the fact that the majoirty are illiterate bigots

it would take a monumental brave multinational who would look at global markets instead of the most bigoted wee country in the world for revenue

never would hapen, but if some coca cola job came along for multi millions then let them * it out, it will always be paradise

    Ain't in America!
But GM Place sounded pretty decent for a stadium, everyone called it The Garage. Now it's turned into Rogers Arena, still better than going to Pizza Hut.
But nothing matched when we played at The Pacific Coliseum, better atmosphere at that place too.
