    Agree we need the cb would take Zaliukas, but would never take Duberry! don't rate him well enough for the Celtic team

    Lenny identifies who he wants - it's up to the board to make sure it happens!

    The most annoying thing is, if we only spend a few quid just now, we win the league and get the CL cash!!!

    I still get the feeling that our board are giving the scum a lifeline, as without the CL cash they would've been out of business by now!!!

    Our board know this and, from what I've heard, are ok with it - to the extent there actually exists an agreement that we will not deliver nails to their coffin and help them survive.

    The only way to do this? By 'letting them' win the league...

    Far fetched?

    Maybe... But how marketable a product would the SPL be with only one big club and without one of the biggest derbies in world football???

    Call Lawell what you will - but a shrewd business he most definitely is.

    So penny pinching may not be the reason for not giving us all what we want - the bigger picture may be the reason!!!

    We didn't get Wilson because Billy Davis blocked it. I don't think that money was the issue there after all how much were we expected to pay for a guy who's coming anyway. As for Faye who was on 40k a week do we seriously entertain those kind of wages because he wouldn't go anywhere unless that was guaranteed. Where do we look........the EPL and money is always an issue. The club can't be held to ransom they have to have a wage structure .........this is Scotland after all. Can you imagine giving someone 20k a week it would cause unrest in the dressing room and they could turn out to be pee.

    Rangers' signings might push them to the title I think, I'm slightly worried now and feel slightly let down if we hadn't carried on with kelvin we would of had another cb now.

    Not cheated, more just severely * off. Why come out and openly state that we would have a CB in before the deadline numerous times, and make it our highest priority, then not bother? I mean ffs it was the highest priority from the start of the deadline and we never bothered. Lost for words :s

    Not in the least upset. Loovens, Rogne, and Majstorovic all nearly fit anyway. What is the point in bringing in some big time Charlie at the last minute and he dozen't know the other players from Adam.We have some big games coming up and a stranger could be a bombscare in our defence and cost us the league and cups.The conventional wisdom says go with what you have got > M.Wilson and Mulgrew, and what's more they are two big Celtic men. Meaning they will fight for the jersey. It's a No Brainer.

    Your worried about the signings they made ,,the rangers fans are worried about the signings they made ,,if Celtic carry this form on with a make shift defense ,im sure they will lift the League ,ive seen enough of rangers lately and they are rank .
