Dumbass 'protest'with the Palestine Flags when they clearly knew going in that it will only hurt the club. The club has bent over backwards to accommodate them - got them the standing area & they get a '* you very much' for it in return.
And its equally * poor in my opinion those who defend this & make it UEFA's fault, not those who were asked to respect the requirement. The rules were there and clear and they were asked to respect them.
I don't give a rats * about their personal political opinion one way or the other - but why express it in an ORGANIZED PROTEST when you know * fine the consequences are going to met by the club - and potentially innocents who had nothing to do with it, if part of the stadium is closed and they won't get to see a home CL game.
    Selfish.

Yeah but the club gets fined and UEFA start watching our support like hawks just waiting for us to do something against their rules so they can fine the club again or start closing stands for games. It's not worth the hassle.

Agreed, it's a UEFA tournament as much as we dont like it they set the rules (And the fines)...a political protest could have been done anywhere else today in the city if you really wanted to make a statement...why do it where the club will get fined? 100K, will most likely be more if not a stand closure...so would any of these people waving the flags pay a fine? Guess not!

I support the cause as much as the next person but * the club over for it knowingly is one day going to cost us big time...we on for a record ninth or tenth fine by now surely.

Well done, standing section. The atmosphere sounded great on the telly almost all night but when they scored two so quickly you could hear on the telly how nervous the stadium became for a good 15 minutes, but the standing section kept the team going. Great job, guys.

Thankfully the majority of our support as well as former custodians are the complete opposite of you. If not then the Glasgow Celtic that we all know and love would not exist.

You are fully entitled to your opinion and likewise so am I. My opinion is that we are a great club with values that outweigh football and tonight made me proud. UEFA are corrupt right to the core. As a club we have always challenged corruption and if they decide to take action then so be it. I doubt your seat will be closed anyway.

These people talking about UEFA rules! What if UEFA said no singing? What if they banned us for waving an Irish Tricolour deeming it to be political? The no political expression rule is a load of crap that they hypocritically break themselves. There is no reason to abide by that rule other than through cowardice.

Well in to the GB, Bhoys SMV and anyone else who flew a flag for standing up for a cause they believe in, against all threats of punishment.
