I do realise how much Irish travel over. More travel over for Liverpool and Man Utd games nowadays though.

The bit in bold ? What do you mean by that ?

What ? Are you going to tell me it's not true. Liverpool and Man Utd are much more popular in Ireland than Celtic :smiley-laughing002:

The vast majority of Liverpool and United fans in Ireland have never set foot in Anfield or Old Trafford. See the chants of "Liverpool" ad nauseum at the friendly in Dublin. Plastic fans.

There's absolutely no way - none - that more supporters travel over to Anfield & Old Trafford than Celtic Park from Ireland.

That friendly highlighted my point even more. 80% of the stadium was Liverpool red.

He regularly comes in these threads with a sneering anti Irish diatrabe.

    Best ignoring the troll.

So we should ignore our Irish fan base and history for what £££.

What makes us more than a club then? Donating to charity here and there and winning a European cup?? Well so have say Chelsea.

    Modern football is sickening.

hand the books back?- get a refund?...there is no european football , no more old firm games ... and let's face it,many bought books to ensure they got CL tickets which is proven by the sell out crowds on european nights and dwindling crowds at domestic matches. there are plenty of fans who will continue to support the club but many fans will get a refund for the reason that the GB have been treated very poorly by our club. There should be no division and name calling amongst the fans -- each to their own and nobody should use the issue to belittle other fans for their type of support

it will be at renewal time that the club start spouting the Celtic family slogans but i think it will be too late for many fans. Fans can attend matches without buying a season ticket..

fans have very little influence at clubs apart from voting with their feet. i am surprised that the club do not show interest in people asking for refunds and will be taking note of attendances in jan/feb/march ....... when fans have had time to look at the actions of our board/stewards etc

away games will not be affected to the same extent and i think that says a lot about the underlying feeling

The away games will just turn into rebfests in defiance against the PLC, and there will be more scenes like motherwell, if the board dont give a * about the fans why should the fans give a * about protecting the club/boards reputation
