He didn't play very well to be honest. In his defense the pitch was really really crappy. So no worries he's much better than what he showed today.
He was taken out in the middle of the second half.

I apologise for my lack of english skills but I'm danish and I hope you understand anyway

Is Graverson signing being seen as a big signing in Denmark, and how do you guys think you will get on in the Champions League?

 

Big signing... naaa, not really. But when you think of it, going from Real Madrid to another club is always seen as a step down, you know what mean?!? But for Graversen it is seen as a really good signing cause he'll fit right in on your team and I'm sure you'll come to love the madman ;-)

CL... well. On the paper we'll lose 6 out 6 games - but we don't care. This is our first time in CL and we're just happy to be here. We dont stand a chance in * against Man U. and Benfica but I like to think we have a tiny TINY chance against you guys - tho it also seems unlikely.

I'm really looking forward to the game in Glasgow and I hope you'll get far in this year CL. I've always had a thing for Celtic - and I honestly dont know why.

hey theres a good idea for tomorow becuase only 48,000 tickets have been sold they are going cheap at cp I might be going and the tickets are on sale at the ticket office it's a good idea should be a good atmosphere

Could do for a family day out kid family tickets are somthing like 5 pound and 10 for adults if you go in the family section

Gravesen Shines.

Thomas Gravesen a star in last nights 4-2 friendly victory over portugal...
Gravesen shone for 60 minutes before bieng took off.. and was questioned as to wether he could play in the same side as neil lennon...he said " of course i can play with neil lennon. i can easily play with a guy who passes the ball well . he will put me into situtations where i can drive forward and get involved a lot more. " it was the same when i played at everton with lee carlsey. neil is a better passer and makes a player like me better.he will protect the back 4 , me and the other guys on the park .so of course i can play with neil . im 100% sure of that.

Gravesen last night played to in the right centre of midfield , and saw a lot of ball from the off. in last nights game against portugal.
he spread passes about the pitch with left and right foot.never lost possesion and even produced a couple of nice backheels.then in 13 minutes he started the move wich lead to denmarks opening goal.One touch was all gravesen needed to find Rasmus Wutz.

Gravesen later found Tommason with an excellent cross wich was saved by ricardo.

Gravesen then ran the full lenght of the pitch to join in the counter attack.when he got the ball he beat one defender , then 2 ,but couldnt quite get past the 3rd and last defender.
The Celtic new boy was in his stride. by this time and portugese players found him a hard man and impossible to dissposess at times. when gravesen didnt have the ball his bull terrier like closing down made it very tough for portugal .

After 61 minutes of what was simply a fine display by the dane , he was subbed for Daniel Jensen.


Denmark went on to win the game 4-2.



not sure if lennon merits a game at the moment tbh in the celtic side . we wait and see . who plays with gravesen etc .. maybe pearson or jiri aswell is an option depending on how they perform when given the chance..but our mans looking tops.tbh. if hes running the show agaisnt a top side like portugal wich is no mean feat alb eit a friendly last night with the midfield they have in the middle of the park then ... get in there.
