Where Has the Irish celtic feeling gone? Remember the euro nights in the champions league whe we sang YNWA and the scarfs around the place drew a clear picture of where celtic came from. The hibs game the other day was dull before and troughout the game. Why cant every match be like a cup final? We have to get some chants and songs goin for the players to get motivated and we can sing this club to success. WRITE BACK

The hibs game was the noisest CP has been in months mate, Thought it was a pretty good atmosphere, obviously we arent going to go European night for St Mirren cos if we did that every week then lets face it our throats would be sore.

But yeah we need to bring the Atmosphere back to CP, I think they should make sections for people who are willing to sing and people who are not because it gets to the point were you dont want to stand up and sing because your the only one in your section doing it

I don't think theres any impotus on the clubs side to create a rockus atmosphere....the security wants going to the ground to be like a * cinema trip - I know cause I work for them. The clubs primary concern is probably creating a family friendly atmosphere which'll attract corporate sponsorship and thats the antithesis of 'good atmosphere' by our standards, so I think if anything they'll always work against us on this one.

A terraced end like Dortmund have is probably the only solution.

Still creates atmosphere! They sing like all the way through the game.

It's quiet because we're used to winning. It's the same everywhere and in every sport. When you win every week there is no fear and no excitement, so you don't need to let your emotions out and sing and shout. That's not Celtic's fault, it's the fault of all the other SPL teams who cannot mount a challenge anymore.

The seating has also killed the atmosphere but that's the modern era for you.
You can blame English football hooligans for it. If it wasn't for them there'd still be standing sections at matches.

That's utter pish. Football stadiums were brought into the 21st century by the Taylor report after the Hillsborough tragedy. That was caused by poor policing and stewarding combined with a run-down stadium not hooliganism.

the atmosphere at league games apart from the hun games has been poor 4 a good while now agree that winning breeds contempt parkhead should b bouncing no matter whos the opposition a lot of the home games is like going 2 the pictures

There's no point in complaining about the atmos at CP. It will never go back to what it used to be like. Football and supporters have changed forever. It is now regarded as family entertainment so we have think of new ways of creating atmosphere. I like some of the jungle bhoys ideas - singing section, banners, the big flags, and the card displays.

Forget terracing it just ain't gonna happen.

I saw on this site a long while ago that someone wanted us all to come up with some new chants or songs. Did anyone ever think of any?
I have wracked my brains but nothing doing.

'If the balls in the net and its not Cadete, its DiCanio' must still rank with the good ones.

as long back as i can remember the games against rangers ,aberdeen ,dundee utd, hearts and hibs were the only good atmos' .the rest were just a clap when you scored , i mean, the st mirren game was a piont this year but nobody gets a cup final atmos playing the newly promoted team, it should be just like a bounce game until a few tasty tackles or a poor refs decision imo on big nights we are second to none wee diddy games are just cannon fodder, before the main dish roll on the champions league , hail hail anyone got 2 old traford tickets for sale!!
