Celtic to meet police over Boruc

I support making the sign of the cross for any fitba player, however I would like to see the video, of how Boruc went about it, did anybody see him do it, and is it on tape?

I didnt see the incident but whatever happened a man should not be punished for expressing his faith.

 

If they are going to caution Boruc for that, they will need to caution Scott Brown for celebrating his goal in front of the Celtic Fans, then where will it end?

am totally disgusted with the Boruc fiasco but it just goes to show who has the pull when it comes to the Scottish football situation. we need to get to another league and play with the grown ups as soon as possible.

 

On the face of it, this should go to European Court of Human Rights but I do find it strange that neither Boruc or Celtic are complaining too much. Perhaps Celtic should ask that the evidence should be made public. Then we can all make our minds up and take whatever action we feel necessary. If it is a straight case of Boruc blessing himself as he does every game then Celtic should find the best civil rights lawyer they can and show this country up for the small minded nation that it is.

Club statement on Artur Boruc Newsroom staff

FOLLOWING reports today concerning Artur Boruc and last season’s match with Rangers at Ibrox in February, Celtic Football Club has made the following statement:

"Celtic Football Club is currently assessing this issue. The club has arranged to meet with Strathclyde Police and our supporters’ representatives to discuss the matter further."
