    Some of you lot make me feel ashamed to be a Celtic supporter al you do is slag each other off no one is able to give an opinion but it gets shot down in insults even the moderators are in on it. I think this forum is run by neds for neds, so my stay will be very short. I'm sure I will told in no uncertain terms what I can do with my opinions so I'll leave you to make a start

    hey Boab67 - welcome to the forum.

    As you say there are many times when people's opinions are slated but that is common among many forums unforunately.

    But, there are many decent people on here with good opinions, who really add to the community. I agree that sometimes some people take things too far and really need to stop the slagging and insults. It would help improve the forum.

    Give the forum a try though - instead of just stating an opinion maybe you could add to it rather than have your only post as a criticism. Maybe some constructive feedback may have been useful for mods and admins.

    The point of the forum is to disguss and argue different opinions. I agree there are some idiots on here that insult and make it a personal thing, but hopefully the MODS will sniff them out and ban them from the forum.

    And people on a discussion board are likely to express opinions mate, it's what they're here for. You should just ignore the minority of them who act like a fud and let the mods deal with it. And if it's mods doing it, well just steer clear I guess.

    It is not a crime to disagree with someone's opinion, in fact it makes for healthy debate and discussion but some of the people on this forum go straight for the throat the minute anyone disagrees with them, it's not healthy banter but out and out insults. I don't have thin skin and can give it out and take it if I have to but I would rather give and take it face to face, there are too many internet hardmen on this forum, it's very easy to slag someone off from the safety of a computer, It's not hard to see that some of the insulting replies are only done for the sake of being insulting and nothing to do with Celtic or football. IMO this forum needs cleaning up big style, I put it to the Mods to ban the neds and internet hardmen and in doing so would make this forum an enjoyable place to visit. I know I'm not long on this forum but I am entitled to my opinion.

    Of course you are entitled to your opinion on the forum and we welcome any suggestions of improvements from members.

    However you yourself have done what you are complaining about by saying this forum is run by neds. You haven't been on the forum long enough to anything about the staff's characters and how much work we put into maintaining and improving the site.

    With a forum, you can never please everyone because there are so many conflicting opinions.

    If a user begins to insult another user for voicing their opinion, then that person gets a warning or ban. We don't ban for having a strong opinion. If you keep to the rules, we will let you have your say.

    If you see an insulting reply or feel a user has been out of order then please get in touch with me or another member of staff via PM and we will sort it out right away. There's no use coming on and posting a big thread on it because the majority of TC users clearly enjoy the site and posting on it and will therefore get on your back when a bad word is said about it. Best thing to do is PM a staff member with your problems.

    And on a final note, you've posted this in the wrong forum.:84:

    If you check Dempsey's reply on the thread keane staying or going, his reply at the bottom of page 2 was to call people idiots all because he did'nt agree with them. Dempsey is a moderator and as such don't you think he should refrain from calling anybody an idiot on this forum......is this the type of person you suggest we should take problems to on this forum. I should'nt have called the people who run this forum neds but IMO Dempsy should have a good think about his position on this forum before he posts such comments
