Found these, think he would be a good signing plus he's a free transfer.

 

Good Player, but not the type of player Celtic should be targeting.

He would be a good signing imo. So many rumours atm just nothing getting done and dusted.

 

Too old for my liking! Recently he has been very quiet when he has played in the Premiership/Europe..

 

Could be a decent signing for free, but where would he fit in? If Keane retires and Lennon leaves he could fill the gap left behind.

 

fantastic player in his time... too old for what Celtic are trying to achieve IMO

 

He was brilliant two seasons ago. He tore up Spurs in one match and scored several crackers too. Not sure where he'd fit into the squad.

good player but past his best now imo has done nothing lately for bolton plus he doesnt score enough goals

why are we always signing players who are near the end of there careers it really cheeses me right off getting the scraps, i think we are returning to the biscuit tin days not wanting to spend decent money on decent players instead getting has beans [ i,d say apart from roy keane but thats about all], come on celtic get your finger out.

 

It's quite simple mate. With a few exceptions (Henke), no top player will want to spend the best days of their career in a pish league like the SPL. Scottish football is a backwater, it's not on the football radar as far as the rest of europe is concerned.

 

Even when he was in form the goals were'nt exactly flying in and there were games he done nothing and then turned it on every few weeks. It's just a rumour but i would'nt want it coming true.
