    just done my second 1 last nite. got 2 others booked for the weekend..........dont know how long it will take me. Couldnt do a hill start at a busy set of lights last nite, they changed twice and i was still sitting there:56:the instructor had 2 bail me out. So I think I've a wee bit 2 go:52:

    lol my instructor had to bail me out when i nearly crashed with a WOMEN driver (completly her fault:50: )

    It takes around an average of 40 lessons and plenty of private practice.

    I passed 1st time when I was 17 in October there.

    7 lessons and passed 1st time .....i was 17yrs and 4 months when i passed .............bit of advice get plenty of practise at a very early age on private land i did from the age of 14

    It was 22 yrs ago :56: yes 1hr lessons and they only cost £7 ....how much is it these days ??

    I'm paying 21 quid per lesson. On my 11th now and pretty confident i think... My clutch work isn't perfect tho. Some days it's fine other days it goes to pot.

    22 years ago... Your test wouldn't of been as half as challenging as it is now.

    40 lessons is a way of stealing more money off youm theres no way 40 is an average SURELY?:celt_2:

    These ppl who want 40 lessons for £20 a go, just want your $$$$$$.

    There's alot more practical work than there was then... They introduced new regulations in 2001. I'd go find them but clearly Family Guy is more important so i'm going to watch that. :50:

    Not that I took that amount, but there are LOADS of people who take that amount of time and more.
