PATRYK KLIMALA revealed he watched Scott Brown tackles to prepare for the crazy world of Scottish football.

Celtic’s new £3.5million man admits his new captain was the only Hoops player he’d ever heard of.

Klimala’s old Jagiellonia Bialystok pals would him up as they showed him YouTube footage of Brown’s challenges.

He said: “The only player I knew before I came to Celtic was Scott Brown

But the team is really good and the players are decent guys.

Thankfully I was in his team in training, so he hasn’t tackled me yet!

SB: Every year is a title challenge. For us, we just concentrate on our own game and make sure we’re only thinking about the next game that’s ahead."

SB: on his 13th year at #CelticFC: "I signed at Celtic to win trophies and to play in the Champions League and Europa League. I still thrive on trying to win every game and to learn as much as I possibly can before I eventually do retire."

SB: on #KILCEL: "It was a good performance overall; we could have had a few more goals but still three points which is huge."

SB: Everyone knows when Leigh gets the ball there’s a good chance he can score a goal and that’s his qualities. Leigh and Odsonne have shown great link up play which has been good but it was a great team performance."

SB: The last couple of seasons it’s been hard going to Kilmarnock and the surface. I thought our performance was exceptional. From start to finish we dominated the game

: "Patryk is looking forward to it. He’s getting his fitness up and enjoying training. He’ll be hoping to get on that park as quick as possible."

SB: "It’s great to have options up top and the squad is beginning to come back to full strength again."

Henrik will for ever be the greatest Swede, but not my favourite.

Only seen the goals Notorious posted and didn't hear much about him on the radio but his involvement in our 3rd, that's what makes him amazing, not just owning the pitch, owning the ball and stroking it about with the kinda confidence your team mates thrive on. Another beautiful Broony moment

Watched him closely and guy never wasted a ball, strolled through the game, always finding a team mate.

Good points, and got me pondering on a thought I had last night.

Think maybe we should put Broony to CB for a game or two see how he gets on. Can tackle, read a game, pass, lead/organize, dictate play and other attributes.

We have enough midfielders now to go with one that doesn't include Broony, plus we might get more games out of him - could be like a Scottish version of Mascherano.

Might be wrong, but just a thought...

I thought exactly the same, but he seemed very exposed on Wed night back there, especially for pace. Maybe just needs to get used to it.

Bit deceiving. That total includes 135 for Hibs,
His total including today for Celtic is 566 so 701 total

Thought he was absolute pish, I love Broony but he's left his boots in dubai, the three midfielders who started today don't work together, through the week the team blew them away, but too many times it's too slow and labourous. And if our full backs are not getting forward they're just even worse.

They’ve literally put him in a Hibs strip in the picture. Today was also his 700th competitive club appearance.
