Would rather he did a James Forrest and just packed it in altogether. Would probably be better for himself in the long run - let alone the club.

Don't think social media is good for most people's mental health and any old * can say it's the end of Griff and Bayo on Twitter but why expose yourself, and worse so react to it in front of everyone?

Does himself no favours, as said do your talking where it matters on the pitch like you get paid handsomely to do.

Spend the time trying to get back into team, * stalk your manager if you have to, pester them and train hard make sure they can't miss you.

Don't go round like some pissy little 15 year old in social media thinking their being big man.

Lets not forget he was under a manager who dropped him the minute anyone else was fit...even when he scored goals.

And going by our success at the time it was absolutely the right thing to do.

Maybe aye, but we can't then slate the guy for not having good seasons, yes he has had problems but i for one still want him at our club scoring goals and given the chance he will again.

We've been saying this for how long now?

He was dropped because we had/have far better strikers. Rodgers was one of our most successful managers of all time and Lennon is a club legend. Neither of those two seem to fancy Griffiths too much so maybe the common denominator is the actual problem.

Agreed, tbh he's getting boring. Is it too much to ask that Celtic have a reliable striker to call upon. Griff is now taking the * in my view. Steadily losing the good will of the fans and from what I can see he's living off past achievements.

Lennon signed him. When dembele was fit he was no1! Dembele in Rodgers first 8 games didn’t start Griffiths did! Dembele got his chance in the 5-1 game against the huns and didn’t look back but Griffiths played a part.

his niggling injuries where the issue with Rodgers.

Lennon signed him, aye, 6 years ago. We, as well as football as a whole, have taken massive strides forward since then on and off the pitch - in terms of fitness/sports science/professionalism etc. Griffiths in 2014 was competing with Balde, Pukki, Scepovic etc. Since then he's been competing with Eddy and Dembele - two far better players and, just as importantly, far better athletes.

Griffiths was number 1 for a short stint under Rodgers because Dembele was settling into a new country with a new team. The same thing that happens regularly when a player joins a club. Of course Griffiths played his part but, again, we're talking 4 years ago now.

We need the 2017 Griff back

If he can get back to that level then what an asset he would be to the team.

I'm not willing to write him off just yet but the next 6 months are huge in terms of his Celtic career. If he can get himself a good loan deal, knock the social media and general tomfoolery on the head and focus completely on getting back to the level above then he's right back into the fold no questions asked.

Bayo has asked to go on loan so unless we sign another striker Griffiths is staying!

We'll sign another in my opinion..

What Bayo has done is what I posted a while back that I wanted Griff to do....take the initiative and go out and get game's..

Would you take a Billy Sharp or Glenn Murray on a loan to end of season to allow these 2 to go out or do you think the boy Cohen would play at CF?

Better wae Pat Sharp for this title run-in.

It's going to be a whole lot of fun, prizes to be won...

True, 2016-2017 Griff was a good squad player, a great back up that chipped in and COULD BE CALLED upon if needed.

    Its 2020 though and he's a liability
