‘One shot’ in movies doesn’t literally mean it’s always one shot.

It’s just cleverly editing cuts together.

An excellent, emotional film with fantastic cinematography, highlighting the brutality and despair of the great war.

Off your high horse you tadger. You tried to make me look silly and got found out for it. Don’t be a little wideo then decide to get offended by a word to suit your agenda.

Unfortunately being almost 30, I grew up when offensive words had more meaning than the part that people get offended about. There’s a lot of words like it. Unfortunately some people take them too literal. Strange censored, cancel culture we live in now.

I'm considerably older than you and I know that the words you are referring to are offensive to many. Time to grow up.

Think I’ll take myself away from here.

It’s such a toxic environment. Someone tries to make me look stupid, almost bully me if I was a weaker person. I react and I’m the bad guy for using a word.

Unfortunately no offence was meant and I’m sure you knew the meaning behind the word. Playground stuff like this place always is.

I choose not to be offended by words. You hear them in TV, movies, comedy and football stadiums daily. I can count on one hand the words I won’t say. It’s the context and situations you use them that matters.

Now words are being removed by staff? Welcome to 2020.

Dealing with your first point - I left an in thread warning to defuse the argument. Had the person you were arguing with continued on in the same vein they would be facing a ban.

Whether you choose to accept it or not - your phrasing is unacceptable and that is why it has been removed and is being reviewed. Because you don't take offence to words doesn't mean others don't and the word used is derogatory and against site rules.

I grew up in the 70's when racism was the norm. My entire life has been spent with people calling me a * or a tarrier. The very same people would use the argument you are using. It's easy not to take offence to a word when you are the one using it

The site rules explicitly refer to terms like the one you used. I suggest you avail yourself of them before posting again - if indeed you choose to do so.

If you want to reply to this do so in a PM and help get this thread back on topic.

I'm over 40 and have a disabled kid. I dont expect to come on to a forum to read about film reviews and see that kind of lanugue being used. It makes me sad.
