No point getting in a striker from the SPL who isn't burning up the league. Brophy isn't doing that. Agree completely we need another striker but we have to be succession planning for Eddy so i'd be hoping/expecting some sort of similar loan deal for a young gun from a mega club.

If it was between Brophy and Cosgrove, it would be Cosgrove 100%.

Would prefer better than both and think both teams would want far more than either is worth. Need to get Bayo and Griffiths game time before the window to see where they're at before shelling out.

I'd probably rather Kevin Nisbet than either of those..

Would rather none but going by potential then he'll end up doing the same as them in the top flight for someone at the very least......and won't cost from 2-4 million..

We won’t sign Cosgrove, Brophy, Shankland etc.

We need someone who can contribute as much as Eddy and someone who can fill his boots when he moves on.

We have got designs on going deep into EL and securing 10IAR, Brophy, Cosgrove etc ain’t up to the standard we need.

Kinda youngster we should be looking to replace Eddy with eventually..

Young German international with a frightening goal return. Every season he scores more than he's played or equal..

As my original point he reminds me of Scott McDonald, he wasn’t doing the same when we signed him either.

Weah seemed good at the time but dropped off when Lennon came in.

Troy Parrott surely would be available in January for loan, the only problem would be i don't foresee him being available to buy in the summer unless we were unbelievably lucky. I do think we need to start thinking towards a replacement player with edoaurd or dembele potential rather than a cheaper option. Think we are also lacking at centre back, defensive mid. If we don't play shved or dembele right wing is very bare too with just forrest, unless Mikey or elyounoussi can play there to take some pressure off him .

Don’t know why but I’ve a feeling Lennon will go for Cosgrove in January.

Nah I think we have to think longer term than that. It will surely be someone with a view to replacing Edouard.

Anyway. Came in to suggest Viktor Fischer.

For striker what about Dabbur? Only signed for Sevilla in the summer but there was chat that they wanted rid by August. He's only made their subs bench 3 times in the league and got off the bench for one 12 min spell. Been involved in their EL squad against the weaker sides but still showed his quality with 2 goals and 2 assists in his one start up front. His record at Salzburg was brilliant and will know Bitton and Elhamed from the international squad.

The guy that I wanted in the summer as Eddy's long term replacement (Pedro) has also been struggling for game time since moving to Fiorentina in August for £10m. Was due to sign for Real in August '18 until a cruciate injury killed the move. Ironically, that's what led to them buying Diaz from Lyon instead then Lyon making there move for Dembele.

Reckon both would be available on loan to buys if there was a chance they could recoup what they paid. At worst, we'd have a guaranteed goalscorer in Dabbur with Pedro being a bit of a risk. At best both perform and if Eddy goes for big money in the summer then we could have two ready made replacements.

For CB, I noticed Leverkusen and Watford were being linked with Todibo. Barca willing to sell for £10m as long as there's some sort of buy back included. Played with Jullien last season so could be tempted by how much Jullien is enjoying himself here. Failing that a move for Benkovic would be ideal.

Oh and if Shved isn't gonna get a look in then Celta still want rid of Sisto, contract is up in 18 months so good chance of a bargain there.

And now I'll stop cause I feel like Roskopicachu. :84:

Anyone who meets regularly is sought after. Eight goals have come to Sebastian Andersson (28) this season. According to BILD information, scouts from Ajax Amsterdam, Brighton, Villarreal and Celtic Glasgow are in the stands in Paderborn. In addition, almost half a dozen Bundesliga scouts. Obviously you have top striker Andersson in view.

Coach Urs Fischer (53) is not afraid to lose his best scorer: "Not at all. At the moment he is still there. I hope he also meets in the last three games. What is then, I do not care at the moment. For me, the now counts. And we are very well prepared. "

What Fischer means: Andersson's contract may run longer than in 2020, according to Union view (BILD reported). If a club wants to commit the goalgetter, the club could still cash in the summer.

Decent, clever big striker...that can finish..

I prefer quicker forwards leading the line but as another option to Eddy he'd be great..

    Unlikely with the competition..

McDonald's record was roughly 1 in 2 which is great for a small club, Brophy's is 1 in 3 which is good but nothing special.

Mcgowan says we're after Andraz Sporar from Slovan Bratislava, got 12 goals in 11 league games so far this season and scored 5 in the europa (20 goals and 5 assists in 27 games this season)

I noticed him the other night when flicking through players in the Europa League. Really decent record this season.

Seeing rumours that we are after 2 strikers in January which would be interesting for Griffiths if true.
