Still can't believe he's a Celtic player, yes albeit on loan. But he's the type of * we all sign and want on FM but reality is they never come near Scotland.

To try a positive slant, say he wins a medal tomorrow, gets a good run in Europe after New Year, he is in contention for more medals as the season goes on, he is playing in front of 60K passionate fans every few weeks, who adore him, and crucially, he is , majority of the time, instructed to attack attack.
When contrasted to his position at Southampton, its a * of an attractive alternative.

I still think we would need Southampton to get relegated to have any chance of being able to afford him and he would I am assuming be willing to take a cut in his wages to make it all happen. I would love it all to fall into place and sign Elyounoussi permanently but it is a long shot unfortunately as things stand right now.

We say this with EVERY EPL player to cross the threshold, or to prospectively move there, and they rarely stay... without a radical reform of the pay structure, loans are the best we can get. He'll leave with a great impression, talking our praises, but leave he will... unfortunately.

The pay structure is only part of it. We don't get EPL money and Celtic operates on a far tighter budget because of that. The only way to stay top and survive in Scotland is to foster good relations, attract fantastic prospects on loan deals, make a fortune when we have them and move on to the next one. Crucially we also have to unearth the odd rough diamond ......like Dembele, Wanyama, VVD and put them in the shop window. This is where the real money is made. These types of players help us to win cups and get us into Europe and all that entails. We just hope that when they move on someone of similar ilk is going to be brought in. Our continued successes mean that EPL clubs can only see the positives in lending us players and the players themselves get the benefits. ....it's win win all round.

Shocking how poor he was yesterday, major screw up by our management to deem him fit.

He's still getting back fit. It was an underwhelming performance on Sunday for sure, but as a supporter with a limited view into what happening in training, behind the scenes, and the stakes at the time of the last game, I'll give him time to get back into it! We've seen him fully fit and loved the results - just wait for it! :102:

There was a couple of occasions he tried to knock it by the guy and beat him in a foot race, it was painful to watch

Looks like another Tam, needs half a dozen games after an injury then goes from looking like a pub player to a superstar.

The game just passed him by. He never looked comfortable at any time.

Great talent though, and a few games to get match fit again and he'll rip it up.

Yes, just lacks pace. Am sure he will be back to his best soon, might be worth playing him for half a game midweek.

No point playing him against Cluj, let him recover.

    Get him playing on Thursday.

MJ is his understudy and is decent enough to come in but let's be honest if that was Mo going through that balls in the net.

I'd actually rest MJ as he's had more game time recently anyway and if Mo ain't ready still he's good enough to come in for the league.

Was a similar performance to the first Lazio game, struggled with the pace and lost the ball a lot, definitely not fit or match sharp. Needs a run of games to get going but Johnston should be starting ahead of him just now unless we rest Forrest.

Would play Johnston and Elyoynoussi on Thursday, both would benefit from a start.

Depends, it may just be match sharpness.
