Yeah that was his 4 year deal.

He signed originally on a 12 month, then we offered him a 4 year deal.

 

Aye so what's the difference here? Other than this being 18 months longer it's pretty much identical circumstances and identical timing.

Other than making them double the money when he jumps ship and boosting his wages it doesn't make much odds for them or him.

 

Means nothing if Arsenal offer more he'll be off. Fat shiny faced big nosed *

I was meaning (originally) that there is a small (not very much mind you considering it's still a snake move) difference, in that he has just signed a new deal with Leicester on the back of this interest. With us, when they came sniffing, he didn't sign any deal. The 12 months was coming to an end and he signed a new needed deal - didn't need to sign this extension with Leicester considering he already had the long term.


I was nitpicking a little, think we both meant the same thing though in the end.

Snake signed a 5 and 1/2 years deal...with get out clauses on both sides...ie he can still * off if the big boys call for him and city get compo and be can booted out ( on handsome termination package ) if he doesn't hit targets

I know it’s BR and he will do anything for BR Plc (and money).... but you’d think he might realise he’s going to get a reputation for never finishing a job....

Although.., he will know that a distant second place behind Liverpool is the closest he will come to a trophy with Leicester so no difference with Arsenal .
