    The wee squirrel could end up drunk: rotting apples contain alcohol and there are few things funnier than a squirrel with a drink in it, except maybe a drunk pig.

    It truly is hilarious. I had apple and pear trees in the garden of my old house and the squirrels regularly feasted on rotting windfalls and ended up running about daft or lying on their backs with legs up in the air.

    Cool Ptarmigan on top of a Munro above Newtonmore in June 2018. On the left you can just make out some more which Ruby Roo lifted by accident.
    It was a long long walk that day and really got warm with a strong sun as we came down. So I got really worried about Ruby. Luckily there was a burn she could go in. Ruby Roo was very very very tired after,bless her.
