Not in the round of 32.

From the round of 16 onwards, aye.

    No.

We can’t draw Cluj or the Huns if they make it.

Gladbach are class but think Wolves will be going all out to win it.

With their record against the top teams in England think they’ll be a massive threat.

If that's the case, and the huns continue to be around and making second place, I'm not sure I'd want to be in their shoes.

They aren't as terrible as I want them to be, but they certainly have had some unreal luck these last two campaigns.
Last year every qualifier they played the opponents where bottom half in their own leagues and terrible, then their group games I think near every manager got sacked just before playing the huns.

They are riding their luck massively.

But should they get the CL spot behind us, they will be coming up against 3rd and 4th placed Spanish, English, German, Italian sides etc.

No chance their luck runs that well.

Easiest tie possible for last 32.

Would happily take an Arsenal or Man Utd if we get to the last 16. On current form, I think we could beat both of them.

I want wolves, Utd or Arsenal. I like our momentum and where we are right now and I dont think that either team would be ready for the atmosphere of celtic park.

But the main reason is that im sick of the people down south who underestimate our league and overrate their teams. A sclp like that would really lay a marker down.

Wouldn't be the easiest tie but Wolves would be a cracking draw...and after our last 2 results nobody would want us if we keep this up. They'll be thinking to themselves, 'that's them back with a bang'. And they'd be right!!!
It's early days but haven't felt like this now about days in Europe since MON.

The truth is the last 32 is usually filled with 32 good teams no matter what your views of the tournament are.

I fancy Wolves. Good, historic English club. Would be a bit like Blackburn in 2003, with the added bonus of turning over a EPL side.

The only thing is that the Wolves manager seems fairly likeable. It's always good if it's a pantomine villain like the bold Souness.

In this decade, our knockout ties have been against Juventus, Inter, Zenit and Valencia. We really should be due a bit of luck.

Beating Rennes and winning the group is key for me. Would give us a far more favourable draw in all likelihood.

Would be nice if we could rest some players in the process.

Folk wanting United and wanting to avoid Wolves at all costs is the most hipster thing of all time :56:

The narrative is Man United are * and Wolves are brilliant. United are above them in the league and top of their Europa group. Wolves are 2nd to Braga...

Give us either of them, or Arsenal.

Also Julien and Edouard are both on the verge of suspension with one more yellow. Would almost be better if they got those out the way :giggle1:

Might be wrong, but don't think it does until the quarter finals.

    Ridiculous rule.

Would fancy our chances against one of the English teams (although not wolves, it's no glamour if we beat them). But for now Lask or Getafe would be nice. Vital we top the group though, there's some big teams around
