You said selfishly for himself he left at the right time. He’s a ‘Celtic fan’ - explain then how he ‘left at the right time’? Your 2 posts contradict one another.

I dont think so. I think theyd have taken Lanpard regardless. I think Rodgers stock has really soared in the past few months, since taking the Leicester job. English arrogance

I think Lampard was the only guy who was taking it at the moment, it’s definitely a hypothetical but it’s known Abramovich holds him in high regard though.

It's weird how some managers disappear up their own * with regards to the style of football they play the longer they stay at a club. The football in Brendan's first season here was phenomenal entertainment. Then it all became too possession based. Gordon Strachan is another who springs to mind. Good to watch in the first season, * brutal every season after that.

Always said the further he got away from O’Neill’s team i.e. no Stan Petrov, Shaun Maloney the worse the football got.

Which was weird because the team was jampacked with some fantastic footballers.

Yeah I agree, thought the exact same!

Everycunt knows how fickle it is down there, but if he finishes the season as they have started then he will have options at a multitude of levels.

About getting out of Leicester at the right time now, stay too long and an inevitable set back will come because they are above their perch atm.

Hard to say if a Chelsea would of actually went for him off the back of success with us, can assume all we want. Leicester, as it goes, at the moment, has only raised his stock.

I don’t particularly care where his career goes, just the way I see it.

Rodgers wouldn't have got a point from Lazio, let alone 6.

I actually read that this morning while in a que to pay for diesel. Apparently being second in November with no chance of winning * all means his choice to abandon a team during the business end of a season with huge games to play and a treble treble was correct. Get to * you utter *.

Aye something about "Leicester City's current league placing of second in the Premier League is vindication of why he had to leave Celtic before the end of last season".....did the * have a crystal ball last season then and could see where Leicester would be...nah...its just him trying to ease his conscious on the fact the * walked and well he knows it...vindication my *....he could also be trying to dampen our Europa success as well.....

Ach, he was good for us at that particular time.
    Left under a deplorable decision,
But, I'll still be sending him a Christmas card, though to be fair, I won't be including my customary £5 book token.

English football must be so grim for the fans. No personality, few great moments. No interest in playing other clubs unless it’s in the ‘Champions League’, and even then only because it’s more money. Even when they won the league it seemed a bit *.

I can’t wait until he patches Leicester. Also looking forward to them slowly being relegated like Southampton.

Meanwhile we’ll keep having fantastic moment after moment and actually enjoying supporting our club, travelling to different countries etc.

Aye the * never had the courage to tell the Celtic players face to face that he was leavin... the * is obsessed with "managing his reputation"...always the good guy and it obviously sticks in his throat that he knows the bulk of Celtic fans cant stand the treacherous cowardly liar.....
