    The green finches made a re-appearance in the garden at the weekend. They're much bigger than the other finches that visit. These ones are specially trained to take out BFL's crows. :101:

    I went for a walk yesterday to see if I could see the geese that spend the winter around the bay,i could hear them chattering but they were too far away on the far shore to get a decent picture,these are some from last year,i'll try and get out later in the week if the weather's fair and get a few shots of this years migrants.

    13 Raven called as they flew over my local patch this morning. Also I heard and spotted my first Brambling of the Autumn as it flew over and past me.

    Johnie, Queen Meabh's grave? Many happy memories of the family going up there when I was younger. My parents were game and got all the way up. I'm very fond of Sligo, much nicer than Tyrone. :56::56:
