Well if he was fit and firing on all cylinders 90% of the time then he certainly wouldn’t be playing for us this long. Along with Edouard he is one of our most talented players.

Looking forward to seeing him in action again.

Hopefully remembers how to pass a ball and hit a shot after this injury.

The emergence of Christie in his position should hopefully drive him on now. Great player to come off the bench and break down a defence that's sitting in

Yes I'm an Aussie and think Rogic is super talented, though I wouldn't defend him at all costs. His fitness has been abysmal and his performances inconsistent (both for club and country). However from photos of him in training etc he is looking super lean and fit like I've not seen for a long time (if ever). Hopefully that plays a part both in his performances as well as injury prevention.

But recently-married Tom Rogic, who hasn’t started a league game since May’s Old Firm defeat, is available.

The manager said: “Tom is fit, he’s in good condition and is ready to play. It’s a nice luxury to have. You lose Ryan for a game or two but have Rogic to come in.

“He’s had his niggles, but he’s in great condition and has worked hard over the last two or three months.

“He got married there, so I think psychologically he is in a good place too.

“He needs match time to get up to speed, but he will definitely be in contention to start against County.”

As talented as he is, he is only use to us if he is fit, in form and on the pitch. And for what games he does play, id say he is only firing on all cylinders for around half of those games in the past few seasons.

In my opinion he needs to give up international football in order to have a future as a first team player with us.
His fitness issues have constantly disrupted any momentum and form that he has managed with us.

Increasingly more now Rogic is missing prolonged periods, and the emergence of the dynamic Christie has shown the worth of having a top player fit and available is. Christie is already coming up im surpassing Rogic’s best stats for a season with us, with less than half a season played.

A previous poster suggested that we can accommodate both TR and RC in the squad, and while i do agree, I think that If a decent fee is offered then it has to be considered as that money in both transfer fee and wages could be used for the next christie, who will offer more.

Pretty sure him & RC played together in a few games last December and went well. For me it’s all about his fitness-if he cannot get himself fit, punt. A fully fit Tam is a * of an asset.

We played our best football last season with that midfield.. McGregor anchoring, Christie deeper and Rogic was behind the ST..

Aye, you’ve got him further back with Christie there. Like a centre mid.
