In what respect? That it’s in Japan and there’s a typhoon coming?

It’s been 100% on for long enough to know that a large chunk of Japan isn’t effected and the game could have been moved easily within that/this period.

Would you agree 3 full days + is enough time to come up with alternative plan for Sunday’s game?

Should be, but it’s hard to without knowing all the facts. Like I say they may not have the will.

Head of Scottish Rugby now playing the legal card, good.

Leading QC says they have a case against World Rugby’s opinion that the participation agreement is watertight.

The organisers are now saying they have signed a contract which covers this. All a bit * given how much is riding on it.

Scottish rugby’s QC says they have a different interpretation!

This is going to end up going ahead and Scotland are going to get pumped, int it! :56:

There was some fears about it a week or so ago but that was more due to forecasters at that time not been sure of the storms path. At this point the Ireland game is on.

Japan players wading to training before the storm has even hit.

I’d be amazed if the game were on tomorrow!

That's the stadium right now. Before the storm has hit.

All that water is meant to be dry land.

Not a chance this is happening tomorrow

Not there. Probably. But they could host it somewhere else... and on a different day. There are solutions - strikes me that World Rugby just ain't all that keen to investigate them. Wonder why!?

Nothing we can do about the weather... I get that. And yes, it is much bigger than sport (perhaps except for a Celtic game), but irrespective - this has not been dealt with at all well by World Rugby.

Why would you have a world cup in a country that has a very high chance of this happening around these date's?

    Seems strange to me..

Same for the F1 as well this weekend, in fact more so, why not swap it with some other place for a time it isn’t typhoon season?

    Weird.

That Depeche Mode when we score!!
And why on earth would you not have plans to cover this,so cancelling games is totally avoided.

    Very weak contingency planing.

I feel for Italy - of course it was highly unlikely that they would have done a number on NZ, but they should have been given the chance to progress.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for tomorrow, but I'm starting to suspect that this typhoon may be viewed as a blessing for the tournament organisers.

That’s the biggest thing for me. Teams being given the chance to progress.

I don’t care if ourselves or Italy are not going to win the World Cup.

But on our day, we can beat anyone in that competition and who’s to say we won’t this year? To have that taken away from us is heartbreaking.

I get the risk to life is priority. I’d probably have already cancelled the game by now. But you can be sure I’d of had a plan in place or I’d of figured it out.
