Stupid tackle that he didn't need to make, but the whole team was poor today.

His appetite and work rate is part of his game tho. Its a bit of a double edged sword. Whilst at times he does need to put a limit on things, id rather play with enthusiasm and be a pest and press from high than be a player who shirks away and does not make himself count.

Didn't see the tackle. Any highlight of it?

Who knows what the final score would've been, but his red card... Stupid mistake.
"Stupid" might be a bit harsh, but a mistake nonetheless that I think, cost us big time.

Am I the only one who believes the kid didn't mean it. It was just a silly challenge where he didn't get his leg out of it quick enough. Stevie wonder could see that IMO

Of course he didn't mean it.

But that doesn't make it any less reckless and * stupid

I think it was terrible technique more that anything.

If you look at most slide tackles the tackling player is on their side, usually with on the opposite side to the leg they’re tackling with. You see some players do the opposite but it’s usually pretty desperate defending. The way he’s attempted to tackle is almost like a lunge though. His hips are square on and he’s completely upright. Just a *, mistimed lunge, not necessarily malicious but definitely dangerous.

Exactly this. He's not a dirty player, but he deserved to go. I just wish that every potential legbreaker got the red it deserves but so many times the ref * himself from giving the red.

Can’t imagine why Ryan would have studs showing when his foot is raised at this height. Didn’t see it but from the picture it looks very naive. Cost us the game but rather make the silly mistakes early than toward the end of season.

Players need to serve twitter and social media anyway. Or at least deactivate replies or the ability to be tagged etc

You can't be loving it when things are going well and getting it up other teams with winks and the like then throw the toys when things are bad (not condoning abuse BTW)
