I get where your coming from but he is a different manager from the guy that was here previously. Unless his mess he was given at Bolton and his time as Hibs boss has raised his level. Whatever it is long may it continue because the football is a pleasure to watch.

Lennon seems to be of the opinion that technically proficient players shouldn't be instructed on what sort of passing game they should go for. It's a clear difference from Rodgers, who insisted on short passes, even from the back.
Our play flourishes when the full range of our players' technical abilities is used. Raking passes from deep are my favorite to watch.

He’s definitely matured as a manager, that much is blatantly obvious.

You still get the snarling grit he showed but it’s tapered with a bit more cultured approach more than likely shaped in part by what he inherited and from whom.

Domestically his task is just about impossible to match up with his predecessor but in Europe the start he’s shown this time round is far, far, more promising than the weasel shown.

No exaggeration to suggest we’re a more difficult proposition for better teams under Lenny than we were under the previous manager, that’s a given even without facing the same calibre of side.

NEIL LENNON will hold talks with Celtic chiefs over their nine-game December schedule.

The Hoops’ Tynecastle clash with Hearts has been rearranged for December 18 due to the Betfred Cup semi-final.

But title rivals Rangers’ postponed fixture against St Johnstone could be delayed until after the winter break.

Lenny said: “I’ll need to have a look at the fixture list. I’ve been busy preparing for the games this week.

“l’ll speak to people above me and see what they think.

“It was similar last year in December, and we also had nine games in August

It’s a big ask and even if there wasn’t an extra game thrown in, eight games would still be a big ask.

“We will have to use the squad.”

The Hoops meanwhile travel to West Lothian on Sunday afternoon for their live TV clash with Livingston.

Loving Lenny getting the praise he well deserves. :50::50:
He's a modest guy to. Any praise he gets, he directs it back to his bhoys.

In his last spell here he was good in Europe, pretty * in the league, hope we aren’t starting to see history repeat itself.

Red card isn't on him and the selection isn't either. I'm more annoyed at none of our players turning up. We have a very fragile mentality.

Don't have the same faith he can change a game when things are going * as I did under Rodgers, needs to make far better use of the squad the downgrade from the performance on Thursday to today is worrying.

Huns don't look like dropping points to anyone except us and we're blowing it against * like hibs and Livi, playing before them last two weeks we should have been trying to extend the gap and instead we've been giving them fuel to go top of the league it's really poor stuff considering how we were cruising a few weeks ago.

To be honest, the aimless hoofball has always been my concern. It really came to fruition today. Completely and utterly disjointed.

Also poor use of subs and timing.

Up against the most physical team in the league and going route one.

    Genius game plan.

    Agree with every word. Worrying

Not having seen much of rangers other than them playing us I had heard they have got lucky a few times. We need to be much further ahead than what we are it seems. Cluj result first time around not the exception going by last set of domestic results. We haven't looked good enough

Got praise for Thursday night, but there has to be criticism for today, unacceptable performance and result.

McGregor playing every minute of every game, and has been garbage for weeks, just stupidity when Ntcham is on the bench. Taking off Edouard and Ntcham last week at 1-1 was crazy. Elhamed should be first choice right back, he hasn't put a foot wrong but I'm not sure if Lennon sees him as first choice. Chasing the game today and bringing on Hayes when Sinclair is on the bench is just baffling. Just launching the ball from start to finish today and never looked like winning anything from it and allowing Livingston to turn it into a dog fight. Tactics and subs have cost us the last two weeks, no question about it.

The fact we can't overcome livingston says alot about the make up of our team. When things get physical & aggressive we struggle. Been the case for a good while.
