Ok I travel to the Philippines at least 4 times a year. I thought to watch games overseas you would need the overseas package :43:. But I'll take your word for it, this revelation will probably lead to me buying the home subscription now :50:

It's a pretty good package. Suits me as I can rarely get to see games live. Sometimes I manage to miss the score 'til the game is aired (usually midnight for SPFL games) and I can watch live when away. For me it's worth the money.

I see what you did there.
Didn't get to Hanoi this time but we have a battalion of supporters in Trang Bom, just north of Ho Chi Minh.

Thing is, over on the blue mobs page, they all use VPNs (as they often joke they're in 'Belgium' this week) and the club stays quiet as they're raking in the subscriptions..= more money for them to compete with us. Pile of *, but there you go.

Us people in England (and Ireland) should be allowed! Hey, in football terms, we're different countries! Come on Celtic, flog it to us Londoners..it's not like I can get to the games! :)

Dunno why they don't just have a live match PPV set up, £10 if your within fifty miles of Glasgow and a fiver outwith, and £25 for pubs or something, they would clean up.

Because we don’t have the money to buy the UK broadcasting rights, that are sold as a package deal for the full SPFL.

So, the SPFL sell the rights to BT Sport and next year 100% to Sky = why we can't watch in the UK; however not every live game is covered. So, in that case, why not opt out and negotiate your own rights...it's your 'product' and it's your 'copyright'?

Not being funny, but this whole league would die if this happened. Us and them are the only reason the SPFL get any notice whatsoever. So it's probably in our best interest to stay "as-is". That being said, our TV deals (that are veing celebrated) are abysmal, even compared to countries with similar co-efficients to us.

Why don’t we have a deal that allows us to broadcast our games not being shown on Sky/BT that night to a PPV channel for those that can’t make the game as we live in the UK but to far away to attend every week.

I am sure the English Championship was or is doing a deal similar to that.
