Might just have been an Easter egg but the show does love a ressurection.

I'm going for Campbell and Michael being the ones who scuppered Tommy's plan and plan to take him out

Why would they care about the assassination attempt though?

Interesting idea but think this could end up like Game of Thrones where the fan theories are far more clever than anything the actual writers come up with.
Finn told Billy about the plot and he obviously phoned someone. Not sure it was any more complex than that.

'Resurrections' in TV shows / movies (without context) is just a mechanism for lazy storytelling!

PB is in real danger of drifting off into that thar direction!

I think that is too obvious, I think maybe it was Michaels' plan B or whatever he said to his bit of stuff.- On her; I thought when Mosley was banging away prior to his speech/rally it would have turned out to be her he was furiously banging(the bird had similar hair too)

Hmmm, might be into something there.

Will Michael have let her take a pumping though? Other thing being Polly will take revenge after Aby got plugged, I know she did slap him, but.....

It does seem to point to that Billy though.

So glad Alfie is back, although a wee tad daft.

Michael’s missus wasn’t in too many scenes towards the end but whenever she was present in a scene, she certainly makes her presence known.

Think that there is definitely something suss with her, especially given that interaction with Mosley in the ballet scene at Shelby’s house.

I think with the storyline they have used certain points in Irish/British history throughout the show. So because of that formula they have to take into consideration real events intersecting with their fictional plot. It does restrict them but I have guessed a few ways the plot was heading and especially since introducing Mosley.

Using real life events and characters ruins the suspense that could otherwise be created.
The finale to the last series was tense enough but anyone that knew anything about Oswald Mosley knew that he was never going to be assassinated.
He is also highly unlikely to be killed in future series.

Definitely 100%. I like a bit of reading in modern history and this was the case exactly for me. Although it was a slight downside I still enjoyed it and I’m a fan but as you say no murdering of Mosley.

I was impressed that they still managed to have me on the edge of my seat despite having read about Mosley in the past and knowing that certain things couldn't happen.

The trip to Scotland was a * joke, why were they away up in Glencoe when they were supposed to be in the second city of the * Empire?

The accents were an actual war crime in violation of the Geneva convention.

Felt like an Irishman watching Son's of Anarchy.
