Brad Pitt’s character goes into space in search of his lost Dad, whose experiments threaten the solar system. Enjoyed it.

Try film called monster not the aieleen or netflix one.Theres was a british one from last year.By matt shaw.

Monster tells harrowing tale of richard, mary and andrew,a family of three. On the outside mary and richard appear normal, and there son a hulking seven foot deformed monster rarely seen.Look closer though and see the true monsters as controlling richard bullies his family into the life he wants.

Its a pretty * up film but best horror ive seen in years.

Is not great. It has a pretty cool premise (much like 'Widows') which could have made this really stand out, but is it sadly let down by underwhelming adaptation in the writing, the directing is dire and the cast is wasted with one dimensional characters. There are a couple of cringe enducing gruesome moments (if that is your thing), and a 70's soundtrack, but really not much more than that going for it.

    Hustlers

It is interesting enough true story that is worth the telling; just wish it had been told better. Essentially, it's about a group of exotic dancers who set about 'fleecing' big money from Wall Street marks. It felt a bit like it was going for the same sort of vibe as 'The Big Short' (even if it doesn't quite hit that mark), but is is one of Jennifer Lopez's better film career highlights as an actress (although not exactly a high benchmark admittedly).

@Minty - This is one I've been waiting to see still not too sure what it is about, I actually had some mad brainfart that it might be the follow-up to Space Cowboys Tommy Lee Jones' character where he got lost/stranded on the moon, didn't die of cancer and was rescued my aliens....

Think I took that too far tho.

Watch a film called dread (horror) the other day on sky. Very very dark and twisted but really enjoyed the psychology behind it. Surprised av never heard of it.

It’s about 2 college kids who pay other students to film them facing there greatest fears. One of them takes it to a sick level. For example there’s a women in it who’s a vegetarian because she used to be able to smell meat of her dad when she was young when he abused her. One of students lock her in a room with only a raw piece of meat, she eventually gets so hungry she has to face her fears and eat it.

8/10 for me. But seriously don’t watch it if you scare easily/don’t like dark films

Thought it was brilliant. Incredibly well written view of his slow downward spiral into insanity.
