    Dr Who was like a morbid fascination. I used to feel like hiding behind the chair when the theme tune came on but I would sit glued to the screen :56:I remember my cousin who was an actor and his future wife appeared on it (she was a big Icelandic lass) and it was all cardboard looking sets and b list actors :56:

    I remember playing thunder and lightning aka knick knock. It was great when you got a chase. The McGurks were always guaranteed to give you a chase and the pair of them would run out with their torches scouring all the nearby gardens where we used to hide. My heart used to be racing because if he caught you he'd give you a right clipping. After a few close shaves, we perfected the command wire piece of string tied to the door knocker and we'd retreat a safe distance before tugging it! Great experience in hindsight. :56:
